Default Blindzider's Collection Room

I'm primarily a Bowen collector and have a single large curio cabinet that displays all of my Bowen pieces.

The first (top) shelf is devoted to X-Men. The second shelf is devoted to Spider-Man. The bottom shelf is for Avengers and Daredevil.

I have a second, smaller curio cabinet with other collectibles, namely Batman and non Bowen pieces.

Thanks Philvpr! I've got just enough room for Hobgoblin and Green Goblin. If I'm lucky, maybe Shocker, then I'll be done.

Love the brick surroundings. I was thinking of doing something similar but never followed through. Looks excellent!

Thanks TouchE22! I'm curious how you were going to make/buy them. While it was fun figuring out how to do mine, it is also time consuming and labor intensive.

I've got something similar planned for the X-Men shelf...

I've said it before in other threads, but your character selection and pieces are simply amazing! You pretty much have the EXACT characters and art I'd pick if $ were no object . The Spidey collection, your Alex Ross signed Spidey print, Batman WB maquettes, Bruce Timm BTAS signed art and Batman Beyond items...!

Just excellent taste overall .

Great collection. The Spider-man set up has to be about as good as it gets. Definitely interested in seeing what you decide to do with the X-men.

I love all your framed prints. I bid a few times on the Ross and Cockrum X-men print on the bay as well as the lenticular Superman print (no wins). I'm not sure I've seen that Jim Lee print before but I like that one as well. Nicely done.

Always nice to know others have the same taste and appreciate what you have! Of course, most of this stuff I purchased when I was single, so I haven't bought much lately.

The Ross/Cockrum print was actually a gift from my girlfriend(now wife). I was totally shocked when I opened it. That and the Jim Lee print were from the Warner Bros store. I purchased quite a bit from there including all of my Alex Ross plates and the Batman Beyond maquette. Most of the other stuff was direct from Diamond (through my LCS) as soon as they came out.

I would really like those Alex Ross Justice League/Avengers prints (the latest ones) but since he doesn't really do prints anymore it is way out of my price range.

Haha! I think somewhen there was a story by Mark Millar with the Sinister Twelve. I don't remember all the members but I certainly wouldn't want to be Spidey in there. Especially when Hobgoblin and Green Goblin arrive!

Yeah, we (the forum) had a discussion about that awhile ago. It is sculpted by Randy but technically from Graphitti Designs. It was my first "Bowen" statue and I'm still proud to have it (although I wish I didn't pay as much as I did back in the day.) Still hoping Randy can do a newer version to fit in the space next to this one.

Default Cabinet 1 - Top Shelf: X-Men

Here is how my top shelf looks which is devoted to X-Men. There are still a few things I want to work on with the background. I definitely want to add a sign for the school, just haven't figured out the best way to make it. I'm toying with adding more color variation to the bricks. I may also add a slab of grey concrete to the top of the walls if I can cut them straight enough. I may also add some tree branches in the trees to make it look a little more realistic. Overall I'm happy with how it came out. Of course, there is a little more room for the Professor and the rest of the Giant Size X-Men team.

Wow! Your Spiderman and Xmen display is the coolest setup I've ever seen!

Is it possible to get a more zoomed out view to see your cabinet?

Thank you.
