Default Do you decorate for the holidays?

Whatever holiday you celebrate, do you decorate for it? I celebrate Christmas and I do have to say that I currently do not. I actually go through phases where for a few years in a row I do decorate and a few years in a row I do not. I am in in my "do not decorate" phase right now but I have been decorating my mother's house so I am still decorating to some extent.

Hoping for a Phase 6 with FS Statues of the following

Nighthawk
Moondragon
Mantis
Polaris and Havok (new ones need to be made because the Bowen ones are too expensive now)
The Red Guardian (The Defenders member-this one is a longshot)
and a REALLY GOOD Phoenix Museum Pose statue

Oh heck yeah. I got grandkids, it has got to be done. No blow ups though, not a fan of those. I do have 3-4 foot stand ups of Santa, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Snow Man and a couple more... I am a Christmas fan...

I used to be really into it, decorating the house with little Christmas X-Men and Spider-Man PVCs and prominently displaying my issues of DC's "Christmas With The Superheroes" and other Christmas-themed comics.
Haven't done that for years, but my niece forced a small tree on me this year and demanded that I send her a pic of it decorated, so I'm stuck.

Yep, my wife takes care of the inside mainly and I do the lights on the outside. Our outside lights have slowly evolved depending on what still works. Not really into the "excessive" amount of lights like some though and I also don't care for blowups.

I actually have some superhero ornaments that were all gifts.

My wife does the inside as well, then I take care of the outside. I’m going with all blue. It’s mostly the cool white lights around the edges of the house, regular blue around my doorway and regular blue on the trees in the front yard. It takes a while to wire the trees because they’re so damn big and I take special care with my Japanese Red Maples. (My favorite trees) On the back deck, I have blue along the railing and patio string lights that make sort of a canopy over the deck. The blow-ups are cheesy and very early 2000’s, not my cup of tea. I’m still debating on whether to get some of those projectors that are stuck in the ground and show different things on the side of the house. The wife doesn’t like them but if they’re tastefully done, then they aren’t bad, we’ll see. In my office I have my own small Christmas tree and some more of the cool white lights around my window. I have some of those Hallmark DC and Marvel characters as well, I have to sneak Bats, GL and Cap onto the main Xmas tree every year. I love scented candles as well (as stated in a previous thread) and I have the motorcycle engine candle that TrueFaith recommended. I love it but again, the wife hates it, so we have tree scented candles that burn during the holidays.

Not a fan of inflatables either. mostly because they really look like crap during the day when most people leave them deflated on their lawns.
I was sitting at a traffic light on the way home from work this afternoon when some guy decided it was time to switch on the 12-foot inflatable Snoopy in a Santa hat in his front yard.
Watching a huge white dog in a Santa hat being inflated until it loomed over my car in mere seconds was...a little unsettling.

Saw a video today from a home security cam where some dude ran up to an inflatable snowman and stabbed it, then ran off.

I am not a huge fan of the inflatable holiday lawn decorations but I can see where they are appealing if a family has little children.
