Default Finally a Bowen Classic Cyclops I'm Happy To Own

Hi to one and all.

Well here he is! Blurb to follow after the pics!

First off i've gotta say there is a lot wrong with this conversion! That's not false modesty just a statement of fact!

In addition to the obvious de-construction of the Bullseye specific costume parts and the re-construction of the subsequent damage, ie total rebuild of the left fist after removing the sai,i carried out a number of changes unrelated to the obvious Cyclops costume parts.

I 'beefed' up both deltoids, the obliques and lower back to give him a more substantial musculature. And of course i had to eliminate the 'cheesy grin' and give him a more neutral expression. Oh! and there's the new base!

Even with the flaws i love the way he turned out and i've finally got the Adams era X-Men display i always wanted!

Hope you guys like him as much as i do!

Nice work. Did you use an airbrush to paint or a regular brush?

You're far too generous, but it's much appreciated all the same!

Cheers Bud! I've got an airbrush and should have used it, the final effect would have been much better. However various domestic issues meant i was limited to manual painting.

Very nice job! I love the side-by-side comparison of Cyclops with Bullseye. What medium did you mostly use in reshaping your hero?

Wow! That sculpt should have been an option also for all the retro poses. Nice work. you can always perfect it later.

You did a really good job man. Had you not put Bullseye up there I probably wouldn't have noticed.

Excellent mod!

Love the Adams era display, I wish the retro Cyclops had the more serious expression. Looks awesome.

Thanks for the kind words. That pose looks a lot more natural than the original Bowen.

As a result of ignorance or stupidity you'll have to explain that one!

Could not have received higher praise! Much appreciated!

Many thanks. Never liked the 'screaming' effect either.

Very nice!
The colors are spot on, and the sculpted parts look natural as well!
I was never a huge fan of the original offering. This one suits the character and display much better!
Awesome job! I look forward to seeing more from you!
