I'm very suspect of people who "collect" things, never take them out of their boxes and just store them without displaying them. That's more "hoarding" than collecting. Can you imagine the conflicts between me, who wants to fill every space in my house with displayed statues and a hoarder wife, who wants to fill every spare space with...junk?
Talk about "I need my space".
Besides, you should never make a decision on one personality trait alone. I once met a girl who was incredibly beautiful AND was as into PC video gaming as much as I was. I thought I had really hit the jackpot...until she turned out to be completely nuts.

Let's not start talking about chicks fellas. We would go on and on for days just about the stuff we don't understand about them.....then eventually we would need psychiatric help

Though on a tangent, someone remind me (or take it upon themselves) to start a thread about just what the hell has been happening since self-proclaimed geek chicks have started taking over creative at Marvel. Turns out having an ax to grind is not the attitude most conducive to creating good stories or honoring decades of tradition (or, for that matter, just plain "getting it"). Who knew?

Good conversation here.

Not sure how many other folks like Iron Giant, I was pleased to see Sideshow doing something a little different by doing an Iron Giant statue. I was astounded to see the price point of $699. It is two feet tall with the base, still way too much for me.

I've become extremely picky with my 1/4th sideshow/XM. Prices keep jumping.

Those XM, Sideshow and Prime 1 pieces kind of force most folks into picking their main guys. I recently bought the SS Batfleck premium format. He looked great online but I immediately had issues with the pose and sculpt when I unboxed him. Hopefully the Deathstroke won't have those issues.

I have one more SS PF on order and I believe my statue collecting days are over, or at least very limited. As I stated in an earlier post, I just don't have the room to display anymore statues, and I love the ones that I own and don't want to sell them. I refuse to display comic book statues all over my house. One room for me (and mostly my wife) for statues is enough. The PF statue that I'm waiting on is Kylo Ren, and I have a spot reserved in my collection for him. Upcoming XM releases like Sif and Beta Ray Bill are very tempting. We will see what happens when they are released.
