Default Tips for Painting Plastic Models

I recently purchased all of Revell's reissues of Aurora's Prehistoric Scenes line. I haven't built or painted a model since I was a little kid. I've decided that I want to use airbrush as my tool to paint these models.

I know nothing about airbrushes, so my first question is...

- What's a good reliable brand/model?

Hopefully, some statue painters will weigh in here...

I know there are quite a few great airbrush artists that paint dinos out there. One that comes to mind is Steve Riojas. I have met this guy and he's a very nice guy too. Even though it's been about 3 years since I last talked with him, he has been helpful in answering any question I had about painting kits. He does airbrush demonstrations at Wonderfest it seems every year he's there. I personally don't use an airbrush (would like to someday) just a good ole fashion hand brush.

Now to answer your question, most of the hobbiests I know use the Iwata brand. Not much else I can say but at least it's a start.
