Default Toronto Comic Con 2016 and 2017

Rob Liefeld arrived Saturday, probably not realizing that he has a huge following in Toronto. $400 Canadian is around $300 US, which is how much
I gave him to do a sketch.

Rob Liefeld managed to do one last sketch on the Sunday, just before he left. These $70 sketches are not really a money maker for him, as fans were paying him more to sign specific items, and he signed tons of them.

It was seeing Rob's comic covers that got me back in comics. No one is better!

Hope he returns.

Seeing how terrific the other sketches came out, I asked him to add background and grey tones to a these two pages. I wasn't able to locate the Flash Omnibus at the convention, for a third sketch.

I bought this HC through ebay, not wanting to take a chance at not finding it at the show.
A blank page reserved for a Peter Bagge sketch.

Here is the incredible looking Hulk sketch! Mr. Bagge was charging $120 Canadian at this year's Toronto Comic Con 2017.

$400 Canadian for the large sketch and $50 for the small ones. I'm so glad that there were white areas in the hardcovers for Tony Harris to do the small sketches.

DC used better quality paper on the first 3 volumes, which are not exactly ideal for sketches. Any Statue Marvels member wishing to trade me their Starman Omnibus HC 1,2,3 with no sketches, for mine with the sketches, please let me know. My hope would be for Mr. Harris to sketch on one of the smooth pages at a future show.

Super detailed Green Lantern small head sketch from Mike McKone. I had to work on the Saturday so my friend arranged for most of the sketches. I did make it to the show on Sunday hoping for another sketch. Mike McKone's sketch list was full. $60 for the sketch.

A Toronto comic shop downsizing, with a massive sale. Saw that Ty Templeton did some art work in the Mister X hardcover. There is a second one that I bought. I'll post the picture once I get Seth to add his version of Mister X. Seth and a bunch of Image creators will be at the TCAF 2017, May 13 and 14.

This sketch had to be done. Alex Saviuk asked $100. End result is that it was worth it. Spider-man's eye is colored over to hide a name. From a previous show, my friend asked Todd McFarlane to personalize the book.

Nice...the Nova and Thor take it for me, but great stuff all around.

Can you give me more details on the trade you mentioned?
