This is a painting that I got from the master himself Dave Dorman! This is the coolest thing I own and nothing could really top it! I hope everyone enjoys it!
Also it's done on 11x14 Bristol paper!

I was wondering who this Dave "Doeman" was!
Awesome work! I've always been been a fan of Dorman's stuff.
Congrats!

That's really nice! I've always been a fan of Dorman's work too. Was this a commission or does he like WGR too?

EPIC, pred.
Another DD fan here.
His work for the Marvel trading cards has always been some of my favorite superhero art.

I didn't know he had done those. I knew him more from his Aliens work. Just checked out this website and looked at his Marvel work as well as Micronauts stuff. Didn't realize he had done so much Batman as well.

Dave Dorman- Star Wars art, fantasy art, comic book art, and much more

Those Marvel cards had some terrific painters working on them.
Kent Williams, Dave McKean, Joe Jusko...about the only major comic artist missing was Alex Ross.
I still whip out my binders of them often just to marvel at the incredible assortment of talent that went into making them.

I saw this painting in person (it's not a card, it's a painting) and I was blown away!!!

Sorry, I know it's not a card or card-sized, was just reminiscing about how great some of those old Marvel card sets were.
But it's a good to opening to ask:
Just what are the dimensions of this awesome commission, pred?

Wow, like Al said, that must be amazing to see in person.
I think it deserves something a little unconventional like a white or chrome frame instead of just black.

Agreed. With a bluish and greyish matte, matching the colors in the painting.
