Default PICS: eFX Avengers Thor MJOLNIR by elurew

Yo all! Got this thing in the other day... and it is BEAUTIFUL. The wait was... a bit long... but in the end i got it and i'm super happy!

so it doesn't actually have its own real box. it was shipping box followed by styrofoam...

but the hammer itself was vacuum sealed?

the paint for the hammer head is a really nice reflective but looks worn

nice leather

Very nice. What would have been excellent would have been if the base had looked like desert like when it had fallen to Earth in the Thor movie and everyone was trying to pick it up.

Very nice! How heavy is it? I didn't order this one because I thought having 3 Mjolnirs in my collection would be a bit much. Congrats!

bathroom scale clocks in at 9lbs? don't know how accurate it is, but it does feel decently hefty...

I personally can't wait for the Cap Shield myself... though at this rate, it'll be another 2 years... :p

This is such a cool piece. I wish I could get one. This and Cap's shield are definitely the coolest Marvel props.

That is pretty cool! Glad they finally got around to getting this produced and out to people. I am duly impressed with actual leather wrapping around the handle. Though if you actually had to use this during a zombie apocalypse the metal wrapping around that handle would wreak havoc on your hands after a while. I was afraid they missed the inscription too but glad to see it made the cut. Thanks for sharing pics!

Still no word on Cap's shield. I'm starting to wonder if the contract that Marvel had with Museum Replicas is keeping anyone else from creating replica shields? There is no doubt someone could be making some cash off of offering a Cap shield. Mine is going for three times what I paid for it (though nice, since I have no interest in selling mine it doesn't really do anything for me).
