Default Randy Bowen's WOLFMAN Polar Lights Kit

This is the 8-9" tall Polar Lights plastic kit, not the 18" high $200 resin one you had to order through Playing Mantis. It was still fun to build & paint and has that "Bowen" feel to it. Sort of like a Bowen mini-statue as opposed to a Bowen full size.
I hope to locate one of the resin kits eventually. It must be phenomenal and would be a great pairing with Randy's huge Glenn Strange "Frankenstein" kit.

He sculpted the 18" resin kit it's based on, but I don't know how much input he had into scaling it down into this plastic kit. The only credit is on a flyer for the $200 resin version inside the box. That's why it reminds me of the Bowen mini-statues of his characters that were scaled down by other sculptors.
Even at this small a scale it still has an unmistakable Bowen "feel" to it.

Nice paint job... I have both...The resin kit is huge...and heavy...I had to pin it to a wooden base...It's a much larger scale than his Frankenstein...Which is right up there with my favorite kits...Both are very cool...

Thanks, Nuff.
Here's the flyer for the resin kit. I'm sure it's one hell of an impressive piece. 1/4 scale Bowen!
