Default Frankie Raye Nova mini bust - YAY or NAY?

I am doing a little rearranging with my statues and doing a cosmic display. One thing I noticed however is that Bowen Designs did not produce a lot of Female Cosmic Characters. Now I know that a lot of people have Death in their cosmic characters display but that is one statue that I have no desire to own. I guess the Invisible Woman would fit in (and actually all of the FF if you think about it) but I had that statue and sold it and do not really need it back.

I was thinking about getting a Frankie Raye bust but I am not sure. It looks nice but I would not mind getting the opinion of some people on here who own (or have owned) it. Any pics would be nice. The only other female character that I think would fit in to a cosmic display but would be a but of a stretch would be Hellcat. The reason I say that is because she was taken to Titan by Moondragon to train her to develop mental telekinetic powers. Like I said, a bit of a stretch but could work.

Hoping for a Phase 6 with FS Statues of the following

Nighthawk
Mockingbird
Moondragon
Mantis
The Red Guardian (The Defenders member-this one is a longshot)
and a REALLY GOOD Phoenix Museum Pose statue

I have the "Super Shiny" Frankie Ray. On it's own it's a nicely-composed bust with a neat base. With a few other "cosmics" and a little back-lighting is where it really "shines" (pardon the pun.)
If you do buy one just be wary of broken points on her "hair". They're quite fragile.

Hey True Faith

Like your Dr Fate pic

So you have the "gold chrome" one? I know there were 3 different versions.

Yes, there were 3 version of Frankie Ray
1.) Regular (painted)
2.) Super Shiny
3.) Blinding Chrome

I have the Super Shiny. It's chromed, but is silver, not gold.
I believe it's the "Blinding Chrome" (the rarest) that is gold chrome.
Although among the rarest of Bowen busts, the price of the "Blinding Chrome" one has dropped like a stone since I began collecting. It used to fetch up to $600, but can be had for much less these days (just like Cube Base Sasquatch). Might be worth looking for if you're in the market for a Frankie ray bust rather than settling for one of the 2 more common ones.

(Doctor Fate has always been one of my fave DC characters, since he and Hourman teamed up in Showcase #55. I'm really excited that he's appearing as a playable character in Injustice 2.)

Go for it. It's not the most expensive piece, so why not? I haven't got one, but its cool.

Why no Mistress Death though, if you don't mind me asking? It's a cool statue IMO.

I say go for it! The bust is well sculpted and represents the character very accurately from the comics. She works well with the other cosmic characters.

your only other real cosmic women options are

If only we had more cosmic women to choose from. Here's my most wanted list of cosmic women:

Gamora
Moondragon
Nikki
Aleta
Mantis
Phyla-Vell
Nebula

I'm sure there's more that I'm forgetting

FR Bust is a Definite Yay. Was one of my favorite busts. The real question is regular, chrome, or super shiny Gold chrome.
