Default Joe Jusko corner box variant covers

Have you guys seen any of these yet? Just beautiful. They're painted homages of classic sixties and seventies Marvel corner boxes. There are 21 coming, featuring new characters as well as old. It's the classics I'm interested in: Sub-Mariner, Thor, Vison, Iron-Man etc. They make me nostalgic for the old days!

Yeah those are very cool. I believe they were made to be "variant covers" awhile ago.

They really should make those available for prints or something.

Yeah, I would buy prints of these. The alternate covers came out this month, and more will be available next week I believe.

On a tangent: I love that both Jusco and Alex Ross have taken on Avengers #4:

I think this is the only one. Not really based on a classic corner box, but cool nonetheless. I kind of wish they had done a couple of the old "floating head" type of corner boxes featuring the major teams like FF, Avengers and X-Men, but I'm really happy with the ones we got.

Those are boss especially the Hulk and Sub-Mariner. Spidey's eyes are too big. Drives me fg crazy why everyone draws him with those big eyes. There'a a ton of great art such as some of these that Marvel should make posters of but they never do. The cover for the Champions TPB with recolored Gil Kane art would make a great poster but Marvel is clueless.

I think Joe just "updated" Spidey's eyes from the corner box a little. They were pretty small in the original. While they are slightly larger at least he didn't go full McFarlane on us.

I hate McFarlane's version of Spider-Man. Those big, goofy eyes he gives Spidey really suck. But look at the crotch Jusko gave Spidey! No wonder Mary Jane always has a smile on her face.
