Maybe not actually "speaking" it to anyone is some kind of loop hole?

If it does happen. I wonder if theres going to be a major changes.

Scale wise, character wise, or it may not be even marvel anymore. DC maybe?

What ever it is.. Im just waiting and trying to save statue $$$ for the characters that i want.

For the mean time. JUBILEE OF KOTOBUKIYA will do for now.
Also, the 1/6 scale DC that kotobukiya are producing. hopefully they will complete the JUSTICE LEAGUE on that scale.

Money's tight right now, so as much as I miss BD products showing up at my door on a regular basis, a gap in production couldn't have come at a better time for me. Assuming the Marvel license is renewed I'm going to be pretty excited, I still only buy Bowen Marvel statues and that won't change, but until then it gives me time to appreciate the massive collection I've already amassed. And buy some Hot Toys figures...

if he doesn't get a marvel license I'm sure he'll find something else to produce, just wait and see, speculating is a waste of time.

what is everyone's main concern with?

Bowen continuing with Marvel or Bowen just continuing in general (no matter what license)?

I'm fairly confident Bowen will be back with a Marvel license, but just want it to be sooner rather later.

My biggest concern is continuing with Marvel and I know everything will be fine. We just have to be patient.

Trying to be patient... I agree my biggest concern right now is continuing with Marvel. I also agree with a some of the comments above. This late into the year, it would make more sense to have the new license start on Jan 1, 2015. However, they could technically pre-sale and produce prior to that with release dates after Jan 1. Then again, I remember hearing/reading Randy said it would like be a year after a new contract before we saw new product (but I assume that means product to our doorstep).

Anyway trying to be patient. I actually stopped looking in this forum everyday like a lost puppy hoping for an update, and that has helped me lol. I suspect we'll know by year's end where Bowen is going product wise (Marvel renewal, new license, interim creative work by Randy, etc...).

I want Bowen to continue the Marvel line of just continue period just as much as everyone else but I'm not losing any sleep over it not knowing.

I think it would be a nice change to have a different license.

Looks like we're going to have to wait a year or so. I'm kinda enjoying the break. It's helping me to get use to cutting back on collectibles.

I can't see a guy like Randy sitting idle for another year.
That's just crazy.
He's got to be sculpting something.

Is Bowen Designs not allowed to have multiple licenses? is that part of the Marvel contract?

now when were some characters by Bowen done like Flash Gordon, Dracula, etc? I assume that no one holds the copyright on those character anymore so they could be done by anyone at anytime? Were they done in-between Phase's or while a current phase was happening.

So far as I know, BD can hold multiple licenses if Randy so chooses. The fact of it being he doesn't choose to do so since it would mean much more "business and oversight" as opposed to actually being able to sculpt more. I had a conversation with Randy a year or so ago about possibly getting the license of a certain comic book producers' characters since I knew for a fact the owners of that company were very interested in Bowen Designs possibly creating statues of their characters. One of the things Randy mentioned was with the Marvel license keeping him busy taking on other licenses would keep "Business Randy" so busy "Sculptor Randy" might not have the time to do what he loved as often as he'd like. This was a friendly conversation so don't take this as gospel but my take from it is that there was nothing to prevent multiple licenses but the only one that knows for sure is the man himself.

The statue fan in me misses Bowen for sure, but the financial part of me does not, been able to save up money since i don't have statues to worry about being able to pay for lately. So will I'll be excited for his return? Sure! Will I hate his return? Financially YES! So it is an issue
