Default My Warner Bros Studio Store Art Grail

I saw this piece a few weeks ago on Ebay and followed it, never thinking that I would win the auction. I loved this piece when I first saw it almost 20 years ago at the Warner Bros Studio Store (which those of us who are old enough to remember them loved them). I would occasionally see it on Ebay every now and then but it was way to expensive. A seller had this up for auction and did not have a reserve set on it at all, so I believe the bidding began at $1. When the auction was in the last 15 seconds, the highest bid was $150 and I threw in a max of $200. I ended up wining this piece for $152, plus around $25 shipping and insurance (that seller had to be majorly P.O.'d that the piece went for so low and I actually felt bad for him but at the same time I was thrilled I won it). If I never purchased another thing on Ebay (well, at least for a few months anyway) I would be satisfied. Anyway, enough babbling, here are a few pics

Now that I have Alex Ross's Justice Society print, I would love to find the Legion of Super Heroes print he did but I have the feeling that my Ebay bidding luck would not strike twice.

Hoping for a Phase 6 with FS Statues of the following

Nighthawk
Mockingbird
Moondragon
Mantis
The Red Guardian (The Defenders member-this one is a longshot)
and a REALLY GOOD Phoenix Museum Pose statue

Damn dude, that's a great tale! Love it when you get a major win like that. Look forward to seeing it when Photobucket decides to work...

Major cash grab attempt by Photobucket.
Want access to your photos?
Now you're going to have to subscribe to their new monthly and yearly "plans" to get at them.
At ONLY $400 A YEAR!!
Who needs ransomware when Photobucket is trying to pick your pocket?
UN - FREAKIN' - BELIEVABLE!!

I'm probably going to need one as well. Haven't tried posting a picture in awhile, but that's crazy for it to no longer be free after all this time.

Congrats on the pickup! Without seeing the picture I think I know which one it is. I used to go to the WB store all the time and salivate over some of the prints. Was able to pick up a few and even a couple maquettes and hope to get a particular JLA print on canvas.

Best of luck on obtaining the Legion print!

It's $400 a YEAR, which breaks down to $33.30 A MONTH.
Absolutely frikken RIDICULOUS!!!
I was only using a small fraction of my "limit" when the service was free, but that still boils down to HUNDREDS of pictures stored.
They advertise as a "free" service and then suddenly notify you - after you've downloaded years of pictures - that all those pictures are now basically being held for RANSOM unless you PAY UP?!?
F**K YOU, PHOTOBUCKET
F**K YOU WITH A CHERRY ON TOP.
YOU CAN STICK YOUR CRAPPY WEBSITE WHERE THE SUN DON'T SHINE.

I only have about 2 dozen pics on Photobucket and pretty much they were just pics that I have posted on here so it's not as though they aren't things I couldn't we take and put on another photo hosting website
However I can only imagine there are probably some people that have hundreds and hundreds of pics that they are now kind of screwed out of

It looks like you may be able to recover those pics and save them or transfer them to another service, which means Photobucket just tanked itself and gave a huge boost to sites like Imgur that are still offer free 3rd party hosting. What a dumbass move for Photobucket.

I only use PB to post pictures here, and only for photos that aren't mine. I currently use Flickr for my personal stuff but that's all in question now too with the sale to Verizon.

It looks like anything up to this point is still showing and anything linked from today forward will requirement paying. Can someone confirm that?

Guess I'll go ahead and sign up with Imgur.

I just went to my most recent sale thread and it has the same message that I had on here and there were no pics. The pics on the sale thread were posted on May 24th.

My old Photobucket photos are still showing. Haven't posted any recently because I moved over to Imgur... That sucks though.

That is a nice print mmk! Looks really great, congrats!
