Default Heroes World Houston Is COMING SOON!!

Ok, Friends and Neighbors......

As you know I'm opening a store in Houston....well, actually a suburb of Houston called Katy

Besides the wine bar, we figured it would be awesome to have a store that really did it right.....

I'm doing the build-out with a couple of helpers.....tell me what you think so far

Here is close to where we started....had lots of paint work to do first...

The next ones are after stage 1 and now the slatwall was hung (seriously heavy stuff!) Also the display windows are coming together.....

And here's a little backstock for ya!

The slat wall is brown right? I think I like that better than the white I see in a lot of shops. This is very exciting to watch the birth of a comic shop!

It's a deep rich mahogany.... I agree, I wanted all new fixtures and something classy looking. It seems most places have a hodge podge of used things all thrown together. The idea is for customers to go "wow"....

If I had a comic shop, I'd go real classy as well. It's so cool that you are resurrecting the Heroes World name. I hope Marvel doesn't give you problems using it as they were the last owners.

and there have been TONS of people stopping by.....I think we'll do good

Bloody amazing! I wish I could have a store like that near me. It would have blown my mind as a kid walking into a space like that. The LCS near me growing up was the size of a cupboard and smelled like one too. I wish you every success and can't wait to see more.
