Very cool! So many variety of stuff with history. I love how respectful these items are being framed and presented.

Thanks Caveman - I've been wanting to do this for so long. I'm glad you feel it's being respected - that's definitely my intent with these items. Even my kids look at it all differently now.

And this is the other side of the room that will get a facelift soon. Just as soon as I clear out all of the junk, sell more stuff and figure out what else gets a frame...

Right now, it's the "catch-all" room...well, now at least half of it is...

Oh man...I see that real Bronze Hulk tucked away back there. As well as those framed Marx figurines!

Good Eye Kenn...! Eventually I want that bad boy in a display case instead of the book shelf...

Also, I'm not happy with that WHITE background on the Marx Figures so I'm trying to figure out something else - we'll see...but it will go on that blank wall with other stuff....

Referring to the calendar: Where do you find this stuff?!?

Cannot wait to see what you pull out of that catch-all room...

BTW, on these see through frames, do you think it can hold something as thick as a magazine? I have my first vintage piece that I'd like to put in a frame similar to what you have. I'm just not sure if it will work.

I was lucky getting this one - I got it through a trade.

Also, I got two special floating frames built specifically for magazines. I'll load one up and let you know how it works.

1973 Marvel Comics FOOM # 2

Here's one with a magazine floating frame. Granted - the FOOM magazine isn't super thick...

Blindzider - this one is I was talking about above...

BTW - this issue has gotten some press lately. Apparently there was a contest for younger readers to send in their super-hero/super-villain ideas and one of submission was of "The Wolverine".

A boy named Andy Olson had a image of a man with a skeleton or body laced with metal and a mask with whiskers - in 1973, a year or so before Wolverine's appearance in Hulk # 181.

If you read up on the interview with Andy Olson, taken not long ago, you would think that Marvel might have swiped some intellectual property from Andy. Who knows - you guys be the judge.

Anyway - I got this long ago for a steal. It's not a MINTY copy but it's got a Hulk Steranko cover and looks pretty freakin' cool. It's not going on the wall that it's on - but on the other wall when I can get the other side cleared out enough to begin...!

1967 Marx Marvel Figurines

I originally had a WHITE background in this shadowbox, but didn't like how it presented so I swapped it out for YELLOW. Looks much better, IMO - but you guys let me know what you think.

These came courtesy of SM member Rilynil (Neil) who I can't thank enough for the opportunity to finally get these, and also some pretty rare Megos.
