Default Display Case Risers

I noticed some of you use risers in your display cases. Just wondering where you go to get your risers, cost, and what sizes you go for.

I've noticed online that most places you can buy online are quite pricey when combined with shipping costs.

I'd like to know too. I've been thinking about making some basic black ones myself out of wood.

I get mine from this Ebay store:

The sizes vary for me depending on the display.

Thanks for the link. Any recommendations on thickness for full size statues? 3/16" enough or 1/4"

I use the thinner ones because I mostly use them for busts.
For statues with big bases you can put a few of the larger size ones under them and they're plenty sturdy.

i go to the container store for these
http://www.containerstore.com/shop/c...003497&N=80804

i like them having 4 sides... makes me feel more confident of the sturdiness. also, each box has a lid that can be used as a seperate stand, or i can orient them on the sides, etc... giving me many options when i purchase these.

I've bought from a place call IDL Displays.

It's in Ontario, Canada where I live and price varies with quantity.

I've gotten both the 3" and the 4" for mini busts

I'm looking for risers/stands to raise some Bowens I have displayed in the far back of my PAX units. Looking for something black or brown/black and strong enough to support the weight of my Bowens.
Any adivce or links would be appreciated.
