i have the orignal series in gray somewhere.

i used to shoot rubber bands at them and then playing cards. Some of the fingers on spidey and DD are broken off.

At some point I painted them with acrylic paints. Not knowing their value.

Ah to be young and a kid again

I really should dig them up

I also have a Cap painted bronze and mounted on a piece of granite. Nice mini-statue!

I have and love these these. Spider-man is the best IMO.

I stumbled across this thread. I always knew that having found an original 1967 set was pretty awesome, but didn't realize just how lucky I was until reading this thread. It's been about 5 years ago now, but I found a complete, mint 1967 set (not a scratch on any of the figures) on Ebay. The person who had listed them had misspelled the entry so I was the only one who apparently saw it. I got the whole set for $15. They're among my favorite items that I display.

Wow! It's hard to even find the originals. I missed out on a couple a few weeks ago trying to be a cheap arse and sniping at the end of auction instead of bidding what I knew I would actually pay...

Congrats on a great buy!

RIP, Kirk (aka Ace). You will be missed, brother.

I snagged an original grey Cap recently. It was painted but the majority had worn off without any damage to the plastic below. I have to be patient to clean off the remaining paint on the shield.
