Default Iron Studios Spider-Man 1/4 Legacy statue

I feel this one has really flown under the radar. Anyone else really looking forward to to this Spider-Man piece from Iron Studios!

well, I like the Spider-Man pose itself but to me the whole statue seems a bit busy. A little too much going on for my taste.

Hoping for a Phase 6 with FS Statues of the following

  • Moondragon
  • Mantis
  • Wonder Man (in the Perez Designed costume)
  • Havok (need a new one in his classic costume because the existing one is too expensive on Ebay)
  • The Red Guardian (The Defenders member-this one is a longshot)
  • and a REALLY GOOD Phoenix Museum pose

SS Spiderman PF, that is what happened to this statue. SS is a better looking (imho) statue and a much better value. The Iron Studio one is nice but for almost $300 more I am sure most people will go with the SS Spiderman.

IS has an ES of 1300. SS has a combined ES of 7500. That is a huge difference for a lot of collectors.

I love the look of this one, the pose, texture of his costume, McFarlane eyes. I might need to pay it off early so I can get it sooner.

I don't think it's bad, but despite him having the ability, sometimes artists both draw and sculpt him a little too contorted for my tastes and this is one of them. While I don't mind McFarlane eyes, sometimes they are done too large as they are here (IMHO).

I think the broken glass is a neat effect. They should have left the pumpkin bomb out and have it just be Doc Ock, or don't have any signs of a villain. The pumpkin is too little of an effort.

Congrats on yours FS. Is it 1/6 scale or larger?

It's 1/4 soooo I'm hoping I can find out the depth soon since it's not listed anywhere.

I think it's a great piece...I prefer it to the SS PF. That said, I agree with the overly contorted pose and it's definitely overpriced...that's par for the course, though.

I love the pose. Really sold me on the piece because it reminded me of Erik Larsen's crazy poses.

And yea I'm used to the prices getting insane. That's why I'm super choosey now.

Yeah, I see your point. I like the pose, too...it just looks a bit off to me. Especially with that left leg. I think it's slightly exaggerated. Cool piece, though.
