Primed the entire statue with Rustolium Grey. Based coated the stripe with Rustolium Silver. many thin layers of Garage Kits transparent blue. Then top coat with Future Floor acrylic.

DO NOT USE KRYLON PRIMER OR KRYLON SILVER. You will have nothing but trouble.

Been having the same kind of "trouble" with the latest in polymer clear coats, Chris.
Thanks for the details.
You sure don't skimp on preparation and execution and it always shows in your work to great effect.

I was asked to review this kit on Facebook and it contains some tips for anyone building this statue:

This is a first rate kit to put together and definitely for a collector to own. Limited to only 150 kits, I own #'s 5 -- 10. An illustrated box for a kit that comes packed in foam with all major pieces in their individual spaces. Professionally cast pieces with minimal flash. I did spend a lot of time prepping this statue, only because it will be obvious if you cut any corners. All pieces fit together but seams need to be filled at the hips and shoulder for a proper look. I took the extra step and drilled and pinned each post and socket. I recommend tapering the foot pegs because they are very snug prior to paint build-up. But I seriously can't say enough about the quality of the product or company. Erick Sosa and his team at Prototype Z have gone out of their way to assist me with anything I needed.

In addition I actually dry brushed the black suit with Martha Stewarts Metallic Black, to help make the muscles POP in the light. I used the same effect on Helder's BATMAN BEYOND bust earlier this year.
