Default COMIC PRO: Dusty Abell's Bowen Designs Marvel Comics Statues Collection

Well, here's my stash of Marvel Bowen's to date.......... I had been waiting to post my collection until my sweet new case was finished! It was inspired by a nice display we have at work, all glass doors and shelves.......... If you live in Southern California, I can't recommend Doopoco Industries highly enough, I think they did an awesome job interpreting what I was looking for and then making it happen. First Marvel statue was Spidey, the most recent was Hulk......... the next should be Hercules or Beta Ray, depending who gets released first. Can't wait to throw Modoks big ugly mug in here too. The middle shelf will mostly be my Modern Avengers line-up, although i'm not sure Herc's goona fit up there...... Maybe if theres ever a decent Museum Iceman and Angel i'll try for a Champions grouping. I'm also going to rock a seperate old school Avengers line-up, thats where Ditko Iron Man will be along with that pointy helmet Wasp we're all hoping for! Buscema Wasp (hopefully) will take her place with the modern line-up. Love that Hulk, got him last week to help christen the case, one of my new favs! Whatta ya think????

What a beautiful display case. Looks like double thick glass shelves that should hold quite a few more Bowens. Nicely thought out.

Man - that is really sweet...! Did it cost and arm and a leg? It looks like it did...! It just rocks.

I like how it's got plenty of room to keep growing your collection.

Someday, if you're ever in St. Louis, you should stop in at Blueberry Hill in U-City. If you think you feel inspired by WB Animation's display case...you haven't seen collections of pop culture until you've been there. And you can get one of the BEST burgers you'll ever have.

I'm afraid it's a little North of you, they're in Thousand Oaks.

Awesome display man, I think I may have to custom build a dusplay case for my Bowens, my collection is geared toward late 70s/early 80s X-Men, but I'm thinking a setup similar to yours. Love the collection too, very tasteful!

Great display and I LOVE your character choices so far! Nice to see you pick Perez Beast over Jim Lee Beast!

Considering all of the sculpts that BD has released over the years you have some of the best ones sitting in that cabinet.

Your middle glass shelf with Hulk on it seems be really sturdy, it's not even bending with all that weight!

I love how the case is recessed into the wall, very clean look. I love the cherry doors below for storage. Well thought out dusty!

Steve Rogers, reporting for action, security clearance... A-1!

I just won Cap via Ebay on April 15th, for $190.00 less than he went for the following day. I swear I think tax day scared people off of buying stuff on Ebay that day. Scored him for a pretty decent $220.00 by my way of thinking! I now have two/thirds of my corner stone Avengers in place....modern Thor will make the trifecta! Couldn't be any happier with The Captain, hes in perfect condition and is the BEST of all the Cap's in my opinion. #1893 of 2500 for anyone that interested.

I love it!!! I'm in need of a Hulk because I already have all the Cap statues and two Thor statues. Can't wait to have a full Avengers set as well! Thanks for posting.
