Not THE bigger room. That house sold this past summer. I am getting a bigger room in the new house which should be completed in about a month.

It's been a while since I've posted anything Vintage Marvelmania. Today, as I was going through older items, I came across this piece that I've purposely kept in the box until I get a good cabinet to safely display it.

It's the 1975 MMMS "Mighty Marvel on the Move" Coffee Mug. It's was available @ the 1975 Marvel Comics Convention or through the MMMS Club and/or catalog. As you can see, it featured Spider-Man, The Hulk and Captain America.

Enjoy!

Nice! Funny that you just posted it. I was looking for a glass tumbler with just Spider-Man, but wasn't sure if they made one back then. I know there was the 7-11 cups but haven't been able to nail down if there was a glass one.

Although your ceramic mug is pretty nice...

Thanks Joe! I'll see if I can find anything on a Spider-Man glass tumbler...I can't imagine there isn't one...

Bowen Designs Classic Captain America and The Falcon Full Size Statues

Here are my next two that I picked over Power Man and Iron Fist, (for now...)....I'm going to open one more MB to place in front of them tomorrow...

These 2 are the first few superheroes I know from comics, will never get tired looking at them. Nice!

Thanks Elliot - these two were the first Super-Hero pairing that I grew up with, aside from Power Man and Iron Fist, of course...

Bowen Designs Batroc Mini Bust

So, I originally was going to unbox a Nick Fury MB, but realized it was the Stealth version and not the Classic...as luck would have it, right next to Stealth Nick was Batroc...which would have been my choice ahead of Nick had I remembered he was stashed in the same space.

I really love this piece as it captures Batroc's personality to a "T", IMO.

Sooo...I did a bit of rearranging on the wall.

I moved the 1966 Marvel Hulk and Captain America Bumper Stickers onto the back wall, and then moved the 1974 7-11 Superhero Cups Display down, and I moved the small frame of Captain America items (1966 Marx License Plate, 1966 Ring and Gumball Prizes) below the 1966 Lakeside Captain America Bendy.

On top, I put up a shelf that I've had laying around for a while. Will decide if I will paint it black, but for now - I'm LOVIN' IT...!

Finally have many of my favorite Bowen Mini-Busts up for me to look at on a daily basis. I reinforced one side as there wasn't a stud for a nail - so I'm confident this bad boy isn't going to fall.

I would have put Strong Guy up there, but he's way too big...!

Thanks for looking...!

Bowen Designs Mini-Busts

This is a bit fuzzy since it's from my phone, but you get the idea...the colors really pop!

Bowen Designs Marvel Mini-Busts

I moved the Bumper Stickers below the "Marvel Marches On" Poster - so at least 3/4 of the wall is now complete...

Hyperion looks awesome. I may have to start up on some mini busts.

I am considering adding some shelves like you did for my mini-busts and now you've given me an idea of what it looks like! Like how you moved the bumper stickers to the other wall. It all seems to fit better.

Thanks man! My biggest challenge that I REALLY want to try to make work is the 50" x 50" Marvel Universe poster. I want to get a floating frame for it, but it will take it to about 52/55" x 52/55" all the way around...it'll be HUGE!

BTW - Did you notice a certain framed piece suddenly missing in the 1 1st pic?

Why no, I didn't!

There is a print version of that poster that is smaller. I've considered getting that but I really don't have room for either one. That frame will probably cost more than everything else hanging up on your wall.

I started moving stuff off the bed as I am planning to dismantle it and store it in the basement. During the clean up I found these on my bookshelf and decided they needed some display love.

From 1975, 1976, 1977 and 1979 - All Vintage Marvel Comics Calendars.

1978, which is missing, featured Spider-Man

Sorry for the blurry pic from my phone - I got really excited and wanted to post...will replace with better and crisper photos soon...

I also will replace the gray backdrops with some color as soon as I figure out what I want to use...

Here's how the back wall looks now - I think I can fit one or two more small things - we'll see...

I didn't realize you had all of those calendars! I've thought about getting the '75 one because there is a Spider-Man Christmas page that I like. You aren't going to put your 1980 Calendar there or keep it separate?
