I like these but in no way would I ever just collect these. I used to have about 20 of these and I looked at them one day and realized while they were cool they just weren't what a full size statue was. They also did not have the greatest paint job in the world and I really didn't like the fact they were lead. Still pretty cool pieces though.

These are hit and miss. Some are real cool and others plain 'ol suck. I just saw a bunch of them on display at a comic shop and I was disappointed with many of the ones I was hoping to track down. I have about 10 Marvels plus Wonder Woman, definetly not a completist but not sure how far I'm going to go with this line. Really disappointed in Gladiator and the classic Spidey villains and they never gave us a classic Iron Man, just that extremis crap. Happy Holidays!

Yes, these can be hit or miss, but I think the great majority have been very well done for what they are. Full-size 12" statues are difficult enough to paint flawlessly, but these figures are a quarter of the size. Considering what they have to work with I think they've done an outstanding job with most of the line.
These aren't just cookie-cutter lead soldiers that all look the same and are simple to produce and paint. The extravagance of some of the sculpts is amazing to see in this scale. So far I think Eaglemoss' average is pretty high. For every so-so release there have been plenty of gems. I figure it's going to be about the only way I'll be able to add characters like The Creeper, Azrael, Adam Strange, Doctor Fate, Grim Reaper, Klaw, Radioactive Man etc. to my collection in some form.
It's also nice to be able to explore that diversity of characters without surrendering as much cash and real estate as it takes to buy and house much larger statues.
Perhaps it's an aquired taste and you either love 'em or hate 'em, but I'm really loving these little buggers.

Guardian was my first and almost my last. Bought him online and boy was I disappointed.

If I hadnt seen Sinestro in Person I never would have continued to buy.Im glad I did because they are cool little additions to a collections.

Guardian is the only one I hate , which sucks cause I love the Character. Mine has the same problem of flaking paint and horrible bleeds.

These figures use Games Workshop Paints if you need to touch them up - I've used them to touch up and these are the paints that EM uses when painting them.

Hope this helps

Had to touch up 2 figures so far and I could not tell the differences in the color and glaze but I never touched up the DnD so TBH - not sure what to look for

Not sure if this helps

Thanks!

Here's a quick pic of this month's arrivals, some old - some new.
On the DC side they did a super job on Hourman and the Bat-Mite special and Marvel's Blackheart looks suitibly dark and ominous.

Nothing all that notable HedgeHog.
Eaglemoss has been re-offering a few "specials" that I missed the first time around on their website, like Batman perched on the Bat Signal and Superman holding The Daily Planet aloft Atlas-style.
I picked up all the Green Lantern-related and Blackest Night DC Chess pieces and those are pretty cool.
Eaglemoss is re-issuing a lot of the more popular "classic" figures a few at a time and they have regular sales, so I'm sure I'll be grabbing a few I might have missed here and there.
I've actually been getting rid of a lot of my 1/6 scale statues recently, but I'm finding that I still appreciate these little guys just as much now as when I first started collecting them. With so many though, I'm always finding new ways to display this one with that group all the time, so the display is constantly changing.

I said elsewhere that I picked up the Eaglemoss Ant-Man and was impressed with it. Not enough to make me complete the Marvel set but I do want to pick up a classic Spider-Man.

The Marvel chess pieces are nice and seem to be more detailed that the original ones but I don't care for them being chess pieces.

Nice collection Wayne! I somehow missed this thread previously.
