Ok, so now that's out of the way, a bit more detail. I came across this site more than a few times when researching various statues and always liked the discussions taking place and just how Into the hobby everyone seemed to be. So yes, I was a lurker. Recently I came across it on Facebook and decided to join up and become part of the community (if you'll have me). I live in a very small city near the top of Scotland where nothing much happens and nobody really shares my interest. This, for me, is a great way to meet people who clearly have a great passion for statue collecting and comic geekery.

My collection, whilst small, has changed a lot over the past couple of years. I started out on Koto Fine art and some of the older DC stuff. After a messy split from my long term partner I sold of a lot of my collection to downsize and bought my first Sideshow PF and have since bought a couple more. I own one Bowen - Classic Cable - it is the most prized statue in my collection. Also started collecting some of the smaller Gentle Giant Marvel stuff they've started putting out. As of right now my collection is as follows -

Bucky Barnes Captain America PF (Exclusive)
Hawkeye Classic PF
Spiderman Symbiote Costume PF (Exploding Base)
Thor Modern PF
Spiderman -J.Scott Campbell Comiquette (Exclusive)
Thor Frog Comiquette

Batman VS Killer Croc (Second Edition)
Batman Designer Series Andy Kubert

Classic Cable

Gentle Giant

Deadpool Collectors Gallery
Deadpool Mini
Thanos Mini
Rocket Racoon Mini
Spider Gwen Mini
Iron Man Mini
Punisher Mini

Kinda trying to focus the collection a bit more now, I used to just buy random statues for the sake of it. I have the Hulk VS Wolverine on order and Venom, Carnage and Deadpool PF from Sideshow on pre order. As for Gentle Giant I have the Venom, Spiderman and Star Lord on pre order (patiently awaiting the announcement of Punisher for order) and the Groot and Star Lord minis on pre order also. With DC, just the Joker designer series on pre order. Now that I've listed that, my wallet is crying!!!

I also collect comics, as expected I guess. The easiest way for me to this is subscribe to the Marvel and DC graphic novel collections which I think are great. I do have a few others, Preacher, 300, LMS. As well as comics I love reading and have a whole bunch of books (not got round to a Kindle yet) ranging from Sci-Fi to Fantasy to weird books about undead detectives, supernatural detectives, badass dudes collecting souls for a job, men returning from hell for revenge and my favourite series of all - Johannes Cabal.

As well as all that I love music. LOVE it. Have an arm covered in music related tattoos that is always getting added too. I Own, at a guess, around a 1000 CD albums and have just started on Vinyls now. Although I have Spotify there is something about the physical component I can't be without.

Anyway, as for me, I'm just a regular guy working at a regular job as an assistant manager for a home store. When I'm not being lazy I do like taking my mountain bike up the local woods and letting loose. I'm told I'm a great cook and an average baker! If you guys and gals have any questions, fire away

One question from me, can anyone point me in the direction of starting my collection thread, a place where I post my pics? Or do I just start it here? Thanks!

Welcome Anthony! Believe it or not, I've been to Inverness! Scotland is beautiful and I really love Edinborough.

Since you have a mixed collection, I would start a thread here:

This thread explains how to post pics:

Here's a thread on collecting hardcovers:
There's also a group on Goodreads, that talks and collects hardcovers as well.

We love pics here so looking forward to seeing your collection.

Feel free to post any more questions you have.

Buy a copy of my photo book! Details HERE.

Hey Anthony, great to have you on board. When you post pics of your collection be sure and include your arm tattoos. Love good tattoo art. I think you'll like it here.
