oh c'mon man, your my English counterpart. there's a lot of people here that love marvel or comic related stuff, but not too many that appreciate anime figures. I mean those gundams look insane.
4 years ago, this anime store had closed and just for the heck of it, i bought his inventory. there was a bunch of those mini/chubby gundams, I don't know what they're called, but i didn't quite understand why they made them. i wish they were master grades like yours.
also are those billy's from ikea? i went with the same display idea but used glass shelves. they're only $5 per shelf in ikea. not sure about the weight restrictions but they seem pretty sturdy.

Thanks man, i do love me some Gundam! Imagine if Bowen or Sideshow did a range of Dyanamic Gundam Diorama's now that i would be excited about

Shelfs were just bought local cheap but cheerful, they'll all be going soon though when i switch em out for detolfs!

so about those Gundams, I looked them up on ebay and was confused by the scale. i wanted the largest possible (like the one you have elevated by a stand). they only show the boxes so I don't know what they would look like displayed. I'm assuming you bought yours as kits, my main question is, did you have to paint them or are they ready to display?
and since I will proclaim you as Gundam Master, any advice on what's a good price, the right scale, which models have the best details, etc would be greatly appreciated. thanks and by the way, are you getting the koto deadpool?

No to the Koto Deadpool for now i can never trust their end product and since Bowen is bringing a couple out i'll be waiting for them.

Now as for Gundam you want to stick to 1/100 scale it has the biggest range and for me is the most detailed, also you want to try to stick to Master Grade releases if you can although if this is your first time building them maybe a couple of High grades would be better. Also only certain suits are released in the Master Grade format.

And yes you do have to build them but you dont need glue or anything they just pop together, you can paint them but they are all molded in color and come with stickers and transfers, none of mine are painted and i think they look great still.

As for which ones to get, go with what you think is cool, the only thing i can warn you about is a lot of the older models aren't nearly as advanced or as detailed as the newer ones, so look for releases in the last 4 years or so, so series's like Gundam Seed, Seed Destiny, Gundam 00 are good places to start.

Anything else don't hesitate to ask me, if you have links or see anything you want but aren't sure about send me a link via PM, if you have seen anything in my collection, PM me and i'll tell you the names etc
