My name is Amy (thrashramy)
I am from Phoenix Arizona, my hometown is Akron, Ohio
I am 30 years old
I started collecting Sideshow around 2004, my first piece was Gandalf the Grey Polystone Statue, and I have been hooked ever since. I currently have about 17 Sideshow pieces, with 2 on pre-order.
I mostly collect Lord of the Rings, but lately have received a few other pieces that include Hellboy, Disney, Universal Monsters and just recently did a pre-order for Star Wars
I found this website from the Sideshow Fan Page on Facebook
I am married and my husband bought me my first Sideshow piece.
My favorite movies are science fiction/fantasy, including Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Pans Labyrinth, I also love old horror movies including the universal horror and vincent price movies, and I can never get enough of WWII movies and shows.
My favorite tv shows right now are LOST, Dexter and Big Love. I am also really looking forward to the new HBO miniseries, The Pacific
I drink alot of Lemonade
I eat alot of steak
I love to travel to California and spend time at the beach, art galleries and Disenyland
My favorite comic shop in town recently closed down, so I have been spending my time at Jesse James Comics Recent News
My favorite comics are Hellboy, BPRD, The Walking Dead and the Fantastic Four.

I found your post interesting and enjoyed reading it. You have a lot of SS pieces. Hope we get to hear what they all are sometime and what artists (painters, sculptors etc.) you like. Thank You for getting the ball rolling on this thread. I always feel like crawling under the bed when asked personal stuff. Probably cause of my age. Your post has shamed me to respond.

-Started collecting about 5 years ago from many companies -few from Diamond Select, Dark Horse, Moore, HardHero, Bowen, Sideshow and some others. hodgepodge really. Mostly Bowen (approx 20) and Sideshow (approx 15)
-Found out about this site on statueforum.
-I am married and my wife accepts my hobby but helps to control extravagant spending which is very good otherwise I would spend way too much.
-Fav movies - Fantasy (really liked Pan's Lab), Science Fiction, Action Adventure, Suspense, some dark Gothic stuff (Sleepy Hollow, Underworld, Bram Stoker's Dracula).
-Favorite TV varies between Law and Order, history channel, some cooking shows (Bobby Flay, Dinner impossible), Little People - among others. Looking forward to the new season of V (with Gregg Hurwitz writing/ developing) at end of March.
-Drink coffee, tea, fruit juice.
-Love steak and too many foods to mention.
-Enjoyed our trip through the Kooteneys last fall and hope to do more. Kept my eyes open for Hulk in that area.
