Default Who wants this Captain America?

I passed on the last action Cap because I didn't feel it Captured the Captain America I see in my minds eye.
IMO this pose would be the most iconic "action" cap.
I realize it is similar to the bronze (which is a masterpiece) but it would be different enough because it isn't the classic Kirby style.

who's with me?

Still waiting for the right Cap FS. This one would fit the bill assuming the color scheme, costume etc was era correct.

I'm in...!

I passed/canceled the upcoming Action Cap as Randy affirmed that a ALL-NEW, ALL-DIFFERENT Action Cap is on the horizon...

This pose captures that "look" IMO....!

You can never have too much Cap, I'll make room for this one, whatever Blue they use, or the variant.

Not sure what I think about this one. I do like it. I would like something as awesome for the retro Capt as we saw with the retro cable. Something like this on top of an epic base. Maybe an actual burnt out Tiger tank? One of the Skull's sleeper robots Cap defeated? An old school sleeper robot could be awesome! I don't want the same base as the modern. I don't want two of the same statues with just different costumes.

Randy already said he was not going to do a motorcycle this phase so that option is out.

I pre-ordered the modern Cap action. And will probably also order the classic. I just hope I'm blown away by it and it is significantly different than the modern.

Awesome choice, I'd definetly nab the classic action Cap if it was based off this art, with a tattered WWII themed base, it would make an amazing statue. Great suggestion Rome!

I don't like that reference actually.

But, if you wanna go with something similar to that, but imo a better representation and reference and still iconic, I say go with this one...

The running CAP in the OP's pic and subsequent poll is not by Romita. It is a Sal Buscema drawing.

The pic posted above my post here with the black background is by John Romita.

i think rome's cap is from the kid's cartoon. a favorite of mine as a kid, but i am definitely too cap heavy at the time.

I'd buy it in a heart beat especially if we get a redskull semi-action coming down the line.

I think the pose looks too much like the Marvel Milestones Cap statue, but I'm sure Randy could add a flourish or two to make it less similar.
And of course I would only want one if Mr. B sculpted it himself.

^Saw this Cap recently at a LCS in Allentown, Pa., wished whoever did it would have done the rest of the Avenger's #4 cover sculpt's too, but BD's are quite outstanding.

Never have too much Cap!!

No offense, but I've had it with the top characters already. How many versions of Cap, Hulk, Spider-Man etc. do you need? I used to love BD becuase we got tons of obscure characters along with the occasional remake of the top guys. Now it seems all we're getting are endless variations of the same guys over and over again. Enough.

i completely understand stingray but if bowen decides to just churn out b-z list characters, i doubt if they would want to stay in business for long. there's just not much profit going that way.

still, i hope we will see the likes of a full size attuma ,man-ape, shang-chi and such sneaked in every so often.

i myself am still waiting for a classic action cap. and i absolutely would love the poses above done. and i have faith in bowen designs that they will do justice yet again to another cap.

question-
are all the bowen released caps sculpted by randy?
