This is a great question, and I've really enjoyed reading the responses in this thread!

For me, the first Bowen that caught my eye was the very first Marvel bust...the Hulk. I HAD to have it. From there, I got the Cap Modern statue, and the Hard Hero Conan. Those were my first three, and I swore to myself that it was enough.

Here I am, years later, having bought hundreds more.

Museum Silver Surfer got me started! Then I had to have the Chrome version...then the "golden" surfer Adam Warlock...then Captain Marvel...Thanos...Magus...Doctor Strange...Nova...Terrax...Thor...Beta Ray Bill...etc...etc

Hmm. I can't recall exactly. I actually started with the Women of the DCU busts (Have First 2 series then stopped) then graduated into some Sideshow stuff like the White Queen, Black Queen, Rogue, She-Hulk, Scarlet Witch... I think from there I springboarded into Bowen's Jean Grey variations and it became a disease from there. I think I own 39 Bowen FS and have 9 more on order at this time!

I think I went in during Phase 2...there are already tons of good stuff released so I started light....I think it was Giantman...Its one of the cheaper piece to test the water.

My first FS was Cyclops Modern. Scored one at $100 and I thought at that time its the most I would've ever spend on a collectible...How wrong was I.

Been there from the beginning and at one point had everything that was made(completist).Now just concentrating I what I really like but very hard to resist.Till the end make mine BOWEN.
