I LOVE the 1960's (on the building) statue. the bronze is a beauty, but for me, the 1960's is definitive...on the building peering over the ledge checking what's going on.
the modern action pose just didn't do it for me. I was unsure who to display him, that's why i went with the 1960's.
Since Spidey is my favorite character, I like them all. For the best I would have to say the original Bronze statue. I really wish we had a regular painted statue in a similar pose based on Romita Sr.'s art. That would be the definitive Spidey for me.
I'd have to say the Bronze is the my favorite out of the real bronze pieces, but Modern Action does it for me.
I'd have to agree with you on this John. The bronze is just a great representation of Spidey, too bad it's not painted. I had never seen the action statues in person and saw the modern one this weekend, wow! I was really impressed with it. I think it's great statue, I may consider getting one at some point that's how much I liked it.
To be honest, I think Spidey hasn't been captured definitively by Bowen Designs yet, except for the last mini bust. The eyes on the bust are perfection! That being said, I believe that the forthcoming Romita inspired Spider-Man to be sculpted by Randy will not only be the best Spider-Man statue in the Bowen line, but will probably be the best Spider-Man statue ever produced. The pose is just perfect!
