Randy mentioned today that he may not produce Newsreel Cap after all. I guess he isn't pleased with the reaction on Statue Marvels and other sites. How do you feel? If Bowen Designs released one of these Newsreel Captain America statues, would you be interested in buying one?
Newsreel Cap fans, if you have friends on other sites that did this statues, get them over here to vote! Randy needs to know this will sell if he's going to take the risk and produce it.
I like the idea of a B&W line but if this is a one shot Newreel Cap I am not really interested since I have no exposure to the character. I wasn't around in the 40's when he was popular.
I can't even believe this is up for debate. Its the single coolest Captain America sculpt/paint job I've ever seen, and because some people "don't get it" its not going to be made? Un f*cking real.

Totally joking...I would love to see this statue get made. I'm new to collecting and don't have any Bowen statues in my modest collection yet. I do have the Ultimate Cap on order so I'm looking forward to that. What is the size of Newsreel Cap going to be? I'm hoping this would be atleast 18"

most likely i'll be buying it but not 100% so picked maybe.
depends on the price and the paint scheme. most likely pass if its not full b&w unless its pretty cheap like 150 or less and will pass if it comes out at like 300 even if it is the paint scheme i prefer.
i really like the piece a lot but if its more then i'd be willing to spend then its just not meant to be for me.
for me it would be a maybe or probably not. Only way I would buy it is for the 'it looks really cool' factor but even saying that, I have no tie to the character and from the references I have seen this looks more like a B&W Cap (which it is) than a Newsreel Cap. Seriously doubt anyone would say "Nice Newsreel Captain America" ... but I will admit it is visually cool ... would be cool for those that want one. I got the metallic and love it so I am probably set
