Disco's Dead, how about Blue Dazzler for Phase 5.5?
The other Dazzler poll was about which costume we would prefer, Disco or Blue. We got our Disco and she looks great. But now how about a Blue? The Betsy Braddock Psylock poll is looking good, and if we get her, how great would she look next to a Blue Dazzler and Long Shot?
Personally, I say no jacket. The only thing I'm not sure about is the length of the hair. It's been real short and shoulder length, but man does modern Dazzler look hot with her long hair.
That being said, hair issues can be decided if Randy wants to commit to a Blue Dazzler. Let's let him hear us.

I posted that pic first because it is the exact pose I want. I have about four or five panels that come to mind whenever I think of Dazzler and these are two of them.
I almost put that Juggernaut issue in the original post. One the memorable panels I mentioned is after her fight with Juggs, she has to concentrate to try to hear noise while trapped under rocks. A big coming of age issue for Dazzler.
I would love, love, love a blue dazzler! I like the pointing pose and the bomber jacket with short hair. I like the artwork from the konami x-men arcade game! Then it's definitely Longshot and Spiral time!

EXACTLY! this is the Dazzler that was in the comics when I bacame a "True Believer". I actually cancelled my disco Dazzler to save a place for the mid 80s blue version.

This approach would be perfect. I prefer the blue jacket. Really like the early 90s haircut. I think the color is supposed to be strawberry blonde, so a little bit of red, but definitely not a redhead. Should also have some kind of translucent multi-color lighting effects integrated into the design.

I just don't remember her having the jacket much in the comics. The X-Men cartoon pilot, yes, the arcade, yes, some collecting cards, yes. But my Bowen collection doesn't consist of characters in an arcade, TV, or collector card version, it's the comic versions we collect. NO JACKET!
