Please make a Granov version as well. I know some here favor the old school look but I'm guessing a modern WM would do well just like the Red Hulk did.
Great pose and increadible potential. How far along is this? Will be interesting to see how much detail is added. Can't wait to see what Danno does with the paints, because that's going to be a huge part of the final piece's appeal.

War Machine is one of those characters that's so hard to view a definitive look. Personally, I like the first armor, as seen above, the best, but I do miss the chest plate. To me, the standard for every Iron Man armor should be a chest plate and that the face plate looks like Iron Man at all times. The face plate is my biggest gripe about the Extremis armor.

A few issues later, Adi Granov changed it to the Anime look, which we're still stuck with today...
Thankfully, the movie producers decided to incorporate the broader, traditional Iron Man "face" to the movie version of Adi Granov's designs...
It's still not perfect, but it's a lot better!
But anyway, enough of an Iron Man rant, I'm really excited about this War Machine sculpt and look forward to seeing the paint app!

As a fan of the Extremis armour, and Al knows that I am, I do agree, I LOOOVE the Extremis armour and hence the reason it's the only Iron Man statue I'll be getting BUT, I do think the face plate is the weakest part of that armour and wish it had a face plate more like the one from the movie.
Still, only started reading Iron Man when the Extemis showed up and so gotta get me that statue.
Anyone wanna make me a new faceplate for it?

My favourite run on X-force (not including the current series) and I loved those padded costumes all of them wore. Man if we could see Randy make some FS's of those it'd be awesome. And btw that was my favourite costume for Cannonball
With the rotary gun and rocket launcher on the wrong sides as well as the outstretched wrist posing as if ready to fire, I wonder if the image is flipped from how it will actually be produced.
