OK...let's talk about the upcoming Bowen Designs Green Goblin (and through in Hobgoblin comments if you want as well). It seems as though there's some confusion. Randy has stated that he thought most of us were looking for a museum-type pose. Is that right or are you looking for something else?
Please take the time to vote and post your comments.
As far as pose, I think the photoshops Prime posted in the Hobgoblin thread nailed it. If they are more museum or more action, that's not a big deal to me. The things I feel are the most important factors to get me to buy them are
1a) Classic Romita Sr. and influenced GG and Romita Jr Frenz influenced HG
1b) Scale - they need to be the same size as the rest of the spidey villains (i.e. Lizard, venom, Mysterio, Sandman, Kraven, etc...) I do not want a high base (smoke trail) that goes up 8 inches and leave the actual goblin a smaller scale. The current GGs look tiny and out of place with the rest of the villains
2) incorporate the glider into the piece - it's pretty much like doing a Cap without his shield or Thor without the hammer. They need to be there. You can do a more museum pose with them or make it more action.
If those 3 things are incorporated into the pieces, it's a guaranteed buy for me on both of them.
Here's a Hobgoblin concept by Prime. As with the Green Goblin painted image that I posted, I have to agree with Prime 1000%. This is EXACTLY what I want for The Hobgoblin!
Prime's poses and concepts are spot-on. Really, though, at this point I just want any Green Goblin from BD that is in scale and actually looks like him.

Which face do you like better, the one Prime posted or the one I posted? Just curious...
I like the Prime Concept. Green Goblin and Hobgoblin in mirroring poses, so that it's like they're attacking a new Bowen Spiderman statue from either side.
On their gliders but not tall smoke though. Hovering, I guess is my final answer, Regis.

No real preference, I like both. Romita, Kane, even Andru (though I don't think he drew Norman's Goblin) - I just want something, anything representin' the ASM '70s era.
The mock-ups by Prime are what I would like to see, so I voted for "hovering". In particular, that Hobgoblin mock-up is exactly what I want. That pose, that base, everything is absolutely perfect on that one.
i love the hovering pose were green goblin will be in scale with the other villains. as far as hobgoblin im not agaisnt a tall smoke trail as long as we get a hovering pose like whats pictured above. if we are only going to get 1 hobgoblin than i want a hovering pose.
my issue with the long smoke trails isnt the smoke trail at all its the scale of the statues themselves. green goblin goes well with the spiderman on building but looks small next to the rest. so PLEASE< PLEASE make them like pictured above
thats my two cents, although i wouldnt mind getting both
one more thing for green goblin the pic that was posted will be great but how about changing his pose to the one from bring on the bad guys for anyone who wants to recreate that set up
I really want a Romita, Sr. face. When JRSR drew him, GG always had this sort of sardonic or mocking expression on his face. Later artists seemed to equate "goblin" with "demon" and GG sort of lost that mocking face.
I like the face in Al's picture the best and the mock up is also fine, but please let's not go any further in that direction.

I agree. I think Romita Sr.'s Green Goblin face was almost "playful", which made that dirty b*stard, Osborn, seem just a little more evil!
