I really hope thats not the base for Extremis Iron man...
Is there a reason that the Iron Men Status (classic Iron Man, Extremis) have bases that are seemingly high/ or more height to them, somewhat stacking look? Hope that makes sense.
Hey all, this was simply just a temporary base set up and not the final
production base for the statue. I just needed something to stand him on
for photos (color approval) and such. I hope this helps.
That's been my issue with the Iron Man armors for the past few years...Marvel has moved Iron Man away from being a product of a brilliant American industrialist into looking like just another Asian anime character. And there's nothing wrong with Asian robots...I LOVE a lot of them, but for Iron Man, I want a kick a$$ American design look, like this...
and this
Marvel needs to at least get Iron Man's faceplate back to normal. A wider, less Asian, narrow-looking faceplate would make a world of difference!...
Now, if you want to talk cool Japanese & Asian robots, join me here...
All my Marvel commentary aside, this statue is BEAUTIFUL and despite my aversion to that style armor, I may have to pick it up. My only issue is the face plate...as said by others...it seems to need a lil' tweeking...
Yep there is something off about that faceplate, i think its the distance between his eyes and mouth they should be closer also he appears to have a slight overbite which looks odd.
Will you made some easy tweaks on the face/head Randy?
I have to agree with the others that the tilt and "something" on the face plate are not totally on the spot.
I hope this pics may help.
Hmmmm, I think the eyes on the sculpt are placed a bit too high on the face and too much rotated upward on the edges , and maybe it needs more chin too and/or wideness on the mouth/chin area..

These wont help as none of them are the Extremis armor from the comics.
The 1st is based on the movie armor from the Viva Las Vegas cover, the 2nd IS the movie Armor and the 3rd is the suit that Mallen trashes which forces Tony to wear the Extremis.
