Since this is a WIP I'm hoping this isn't the final pose.

Also are the proportions a little off? Something looks off to me?!

nice typical pose. realize that its a WIP but if we're going with this pose, i'd prefer to add the snarl and lines/seams on the costume like

It looks off to you because most modern artists have no clue that Wolverine is short. John Cassaday actually got it right when he was doing Astonishing. Sam got it right here as well.

I hope the pose changes. Not sure what I want but not that, it's too similar to the X-Force Wolverine.

I will probably buy it but would prefer a snarling action pose.

Default Please Don't !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy I know this is very early but so far I don't like the pose or the face I was really looking forward to this one for the Astonishing display but at this rate I will pass. I prefer a museum pose but maybe a semi slight action may work not sure, your the best and the master so please make this another work of art.

Don't like the right hand. Hopefully the final will be better.

The build looks just right in the WIP, short stocky . The picture above looks cool for a pose.

Agreed except the claws are maybe too long. I would like the snarl as pictured too. Nicely done.

My input

1. Add "gritting teeth" Cassaday expression to face
2. Turn right hand so palm-side is facing forward
3. No straps on gloves or boots
4. Shorter blades

Just IMO

I love it when I don't have to write my thoughts and can simply agree (except that I did just have to write that thought).

Couldn't agree more. It is the only thing that keeps me from wanting it. With this pose I probably won't buy. Different pose, probably will buy.

To put it another way, this is a new sculpt and it should show. Anyone who doesn't see the sneak might just assume that it's the old sculpt with the arms changed and a different paint job.

But that being said, I like the comment of the snarl, but more than that, I like the subject photo how the head is also tilted back in a cocky sort of way. So long as it's not the blank expression as on the X-Force statue, I'll at least be a little happy. LET'S SHOW SOME EMOTION!!

Nowhere near as well as Cockrum, Byrne, Smith & Cassaday. That would require having read comics prior to the 90s!
