We usually don't promote eBay items in this section, but since this is the first & only eBay auction of the Statuemarvels.com Exclusive Spider-Man Statue we've seen, we thought we'd satisfy ours & everyone else's curiosity & see what the true market value for this one is.
Yeah, I dunno...Personally, I think I would have started with a lower starting bid & I definitely would have posted a pic of the box with the label. We'll see...
Just so everyone is clear...this auction is NOT a Statue Marvels auction. This item was put up by one of the members that bought one. This is not Al, Gene, or Statue Marvels that put this up for auction.
Is it the most limited Bowen FS statue? I don't think so. Since he started contracting exclusively with Marvel, maybe. We have seen 1 of 1 statues remember.
Also, suprised the description didn't explain how it is a variant. Not everyone may know.
Agreed it went up too early. But I wouldn't be surprised if it made a few hundred after cost.
Box and Blue variant should have been listed, he can revise. I might have started it higher.
I think he hit it about right, any later and people start forget, it was only a big deal on the 2 forums, the average Spidy fan who gets stautes at comic book stores may not know about this at all.

i don't use auction style listings because there are too many variables and the economy is all over the place. i can't take a risk of only a small few bidding. i use BIN exclusively and EVERY statue, bust or figure i've put up for sale to date, has sold.
put it up for $649.99, buy it now with free shipping and it will eventually sell. may take a couple of listings but someone with deep pockets will grab it, if just for the 50 edition size.
What do you guys think it will go for? I'm guessing $500 max.
If that's the case, I'll lose money on it. I listed it at $425 knowing that might happen, preferring to risk taking a loss instead of jacking the starting price up.
I don't know about that. I create my listings in WORD first & my links stay put. As far as the title, I'm not sure if it will let you type Statuemarvels.com, but it should, cause that's the name of the item!
Seriously, if you want to debate this, start a thread in the Valhalla section. All these back & forth posts will be moved to that thread tonight. If you don't start a thread there before I get home from work, your posts will simply be deleted.
