Hey guys. I had put my X-Factor Jean Grey up for sale to help with some medical bills and didn't get any buyers. I hate using ebay so I'd rather take a loss for a good cause as opposed to handing over money to ebay.
I'm going to hold a raffle for the X-Factor Jean Grey FS. The statue has been displayed briefly. It does have a lean to the left a bit, but that is how it was made it is still sturdy and not in danger of faling at all. Even though the 2013 event is not setup yet, my 10 year old daughter Samantha is already planning on forming her own team and will be doing many things to raise money for the charity/event. With my wife's cancer returning, 2013 is going to be an even more important event for our family.
My idea for this will be, that 50% of the total OR everything over $150 will go to the 2013 Relay for Life under my daughter's team. Whatever the larger sum is will go towards the Relay. If I only sell $100 worth of tickets, $50 will go to the Relay team. If I sell $400, everything over $150 goes to the Relay team!!!.
Here are the rules for this Raffle.
1. The raffle will run from 8/14/12 until 8/24/12 at 11:59 PM EST.
2. The way to enter is to buy a "ticket". You can buy a "ticket" for $5.00. You can do this by sending me a PM saying how many "tickets" you'd like to purchase. I will keep a running tab on how many "tickets" each person has pledged. I will be assigning your ticket number with each PM I receive, you will recieve your ticket number in a PM from me.The deadline to purchase tickets will be 11:59 PM EST on 8/24/12.
3. Once the deadline has passed, I will allow until 3:00 PM EST on 8/25/12 for all the pledged ticket buyers to pay for their tickets. I will PM each participant the information to purchase each ticket. The raffle will be held shortly thereafter and the winner will be announced at approximately 4:00 PM EST on 8/25/12
4.The winner will be responsible for shipping charges. Shipping to the US will be $16.95, international bidders will pay actual shipping charge to be calculated after the raffle has concluded.
5. Just as in past contests I have run, I will post a continuing list of people with their tickets and ticket numbers. This way everything can be seen by those involved in the raffle. The thread for the Tally can be seen here: http://www.statuemarvels.com/f83/raf...ten-20124.html
So basically, if you're only buy one ticket you have a chance at winning the Bowen FS X-Factor Jean Grey statue for $5.00 plus shipping; however, the more tickets you buy the better your chances at winning. After all is said and done, I will announce the winner; how many total tickets were sold; and how much money will be donated to the Relay For Life.

First post edited. Now, not only will I put 50% of the total towards my daughter's Relay for Life team, ANY amount over $150 will go towards the event! Buy some tickets guys, even one ticket can win, and one ticket helps the cause.
