Just felt like started a thread talking about some comic movies and things I would have liked to have seen, and just general fun geek discussions.
I'll start with this, I REALLY wish that Marvel got the rights back to do movies like Daredevil and X-men, cos, well they'd be, like Iron man was - more true to the characters.
Like, I dunno about the rest of you but I totally wanna see all the X-men in costume!! I know Singer wanted it more real, but costumes people with superpowers are becoming the norm now. I wanna see how they make Wolverine's mask look for real, I wanna see Cyclops in costume blasting the crap outta things, I wanna see a man made of ice going around on an ice slide, and a hot southern bell that no one can touch. Things that, I think Marvel would pull of with a great director and thought behind. I'm not gonna carry on about how bad I thought Wolverine Origins was or Superman Returns (Btw, the next Superman movie should basically be the Brainiac storyline done by Geoff Johns and Gary Frank, it was truly my all time favourite Superman story.) And Daredevil should be based on the Frank Miller Man Without Fear Miniseries - such Daredevil Goodness.
But Marvel's set a new bar for me in the superhero genre with Iron Man 1 and 2 and I'm SO excited about Thor, Cap and the Avengers movie. I wish they could do the same for the X-men, DD and others. Hopefully Marvel will do an Iron Fist movie too

We should rise up and physically return the rights to Dr. Doom to Marvel. He is way, way too awesome to not be in any of the forthcoming Marvel Studios flicks.
