I saw Looper tonight. It was very Philip K. Dickish like, but with its own sensibilities. This is a very strong character driven SCI-FI/morality type movie & will appeal to most audiences, except, perhaps some teenagers, who at my particular showing, couldn't keep the attention span going & they had to comment throughout the film. Their conclusion? "This movie sucked!" No, children, this just wasn't the dumb, one dimensional action film you thought you were seeing. We're sorry you had to actually think about the scenarios & feel for the characters. In fact, this was a very good film & is highly recommended. Don't let the SCI-FI aspect scare you away. Again, it's much more about the characters. The SCI-FI element is never thrown in your face & is only used as a plot device. Here's the trailer:
Saw this last week and thought it was pretty awesome. However, out of all the movies I've seen recently, I think I liked Hotel Transylvania the best :-P lol

Totally agree Al. I've been wanting an "adult sci-fi" movie for awhile and this certainly fulfills my need. I couldn't find any plot holes. It wasn't confusing at all and even had a few surprises, which is difficult in this Internet world. It kept me engaged until the end. I also highly recommend.
