I'd totally keep it like that. It looks amazing by the way!
A nice alternative would be to get it digitally colored and just print out a high-res print of it if you're so inclined.
agree on all points!
That is a great piece!
My preference is probably a penciled and inked piece but that is only if I was forced to pick my favorite. Like MG said, there are too many variable to answer the OP in a general sense. All artists are different and you have to collect to their strengths IMHO. As an example, I just had Ed McGuinness and Dexter Vines do a couple commissions for me. I could have had two pieces (Ed’s pencils and a blueline inked from Dex) or a single piece from both. The choice was easy for me – I wanted a single EDEX piece. I am a huge fan of the published work they have done and I really wanted to have them both on a single page. A good buddy of mine decided to go with 2 pieces … personal preference.
Alright people!!! So as posted earlier I got the originals Inked on, and sent a digital Copy to Thomas Chu, and boy did he go all out. Piece is finished so now my Thanos on throne Statue will have the Lim's pencils and Mckennas inks, with a colored version with all 3 artists displayed ! can't wait to have them framed , hopefully the wife hurries the f- up! what do you think guys???
at jade agree. I liked Mckennas work with Ron Lim i believe it was X-men 2099 or something like that. so decided to combine the 2.
Thomas Chu btw is really awesome works really fast, and friendly as hell. Highly recommended by Mark Mckenna. Anyone interested let me know. alright done blabbering

So awesome! It's gonna look amazing as the backdrop to the Thanos and Death statues.
Thanks MG! I'm waiting anxiously for this one. Just Got notice of bother project done by Mark, this one is a highres scan of the pencils. My wife wanted the original Pencils and copy of the inks lol. Lady knows what she likes. I'll post shortly of this one.
Anyone else have art pieces they love? Pencils , inks, colors?
