You won't hear any arguments from me on that point! He-he!
Wish they'd come out with more Jim Lee pieces tho...I feel that the range of selection ain't all that.

WOW.
you have one of the most unique collection rooms Ive ever seen.
Without context I would think they were rooms in a museum.
Bravo.
Who ever designed those rooms for you ( or if it was you) has an eye for style.
Awesome. Simply awesome.

Thank you for appreciating...I'm glad you like it.
Yeah, I designed it to be my office (tho I never use it as such! Ha! ) cum semi-museum style "war room" i.e. Cold, Modern, "Sexy" (?).

that is by FAR the most amazing display i have ever seen in a home!!!!! Simple, yet totally modern. I have 2 questions:
1. Are the outer walls concrete formed into tiles with the "bolts" cast in, or is a tile, or what???? that is sooo cool.
2. Are those ceiling height display cabinets opposite the windows? I'd love to see another shot of those with a door open.
Fantastic room, my friend!!!
My wishlist: Gambit FS, Gladiator (Shiar) FS, Apocalypse FS,
Fellow SM Members Happily Purchased From:
Tootall681 - Galactus FS, AoA Magneto MB
Vinker - Deadpool FS
Statue Marvels - Ultimate Captain America variant, X-Force Deadpool, Warpath & Archangel
Lordbusto - Diamond Select Transformers Shockwave, Bumblebee & Ratchet MB's
The Black Knight - Blob and Lady Deathstrike MB's
Smashdaddy - Squirrelpool MB

1. Yup, tis concrete...had the contractor essentially add another layer inside the room and then "carved in" the lines and "bolts". This is also where the floating ledges are fastened to.
2. Yup, mid-thigh to ceiling height. Everything below 'em are storage cabs for statue boxes. (...and still not enough space for 'em bulky boxes! )
There are some shots above with the glass doors open...you can prob. see it best with the "weapons panel" picture.
Thanks for the compliments, Gambit56!

Ha-ha-ha! Thanks, dude! They're actually about 90% filled-up at this point.
Will probably start a new thread in the appropriate section here in SM sometime in the future...

This is going to be an epic display room! Good stuff BLACKHAMMER! I wish I could put all my ideas to fruition, but money is a b**ch!
BTW, this looks like it used to be a bathroom/locker room!? Now it's all pimped out!
