Detolfs on Carpet

Hey Guys,
I'm thinking of getting some Detolfs for my display room which is carpeted. Does anyone have Detolfs set up on carpet and if so are there any problems?

I do. I just moved to a new place and my new statue room is carpet but what I did was take the legs off of the detolf so they sit flat on the carpet.

Thats a good idea. Did you have to attach them to the wall at all.

I actually dont right now but I might. They sit pretty stable

You shouldn't have a problem if the rug is thin enough. If you have thick rugs like shag you might want to attach the wall straps for added security, but a full detolf is pretty stable on it's own.
I like AdamWarlock87's suggestion about taking the "feet" off. That might be all you need to do even if the rug is thick and it's certainly worth a try.

chris i have all 11 of mine and they are fine, however its a thin carpet..and being my floor is not that lever i had to put some skinny small thin wood under neath.

mine are on carpet. they are ok.

Mine have been on two or three different carperts since Ive owned them.

Never had a problem. If its thicker carpet I would ancor to wall though.
