I was finally able to get one off ebay. Hopefully the guy comes through hes supposed to get it today and if everything works out it comes my way. Cant wait!
Anyone from Canada order the statue, mine arrived in Windsor Ontario so I called UPS to self clear and avoid brokage fees, but the person on the phone said since the value is less than 20 there is no need for a broker and no taxes to pay? I should've gotten the guys name, I am going to call UPS again tonight to confirm this.
It was free shipping to Canada but I don't understand why they would say the value is less than $20.
How you guys that live in the states that got the statue? did it say what the value was on the ups invoice?
Does that make sense to anyone? if anyone knows anything about this could you le tme know,
by the way I HATE UPS!!!
Update: email Spawn.com they answered all of my questions,
the devalued the statue for Canadian orders so we wouldn't be charged the brokerage fees.

Mine doesn't fit into the peg holes in the base this is the one statue I have been waiting for and of course my luck anyone else have problems with the pegs going into the base?
Is the chipped piece in the box with the statue? Have you contacted the website about this ?
They aren't major, but there are 2 chips on the corners of the base, still I wish they weren't there. I contacted them, all they told me is that they had no more statues. That was it. They didn't really seem to care unfortunately.

you think is was chipped before it was shipped or during shipping?
I got mine today. I don't remember ordering it so it was a complete surprise. It came out great. I have had no problems with the pegs, but it is a little tricky getting it into the base. Predator31, you should try getting the front in first then the back. Randy Bowen always suggests blowing a hair dryer on the part that needs to move a bit in order to get a statue with peg problems into the base.
The statue is very impressive. I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it yet, but having inspected it and seeing it set up, I'm very happy. I remember when the artwork this was based on being first published in Malibu comics before Image ever released a comic. This statue really takes me back. I really love the print as well. If I keep the statue I'm going to have to get it framed.

I had the same problem, had to squeeze Spawn's leg. Kinda freaked me out, I was afraid I was going to crack the resin.

Probably before it shipped in the factory, there were no pieces in the box or plastic, i even looked all over the floor.
Oh here was the email they sent me:

Hello Matt. We responded to your first email. We will again now. We do not have any extras at this point in time."
But, luckily my sister likes to make crafts so I brought it to her and she managed to paint and fix two of the chips for me. I can barely tell!!!

Try doing what Reme suggested, start with the front peg first then work the back leg in its peg hole. The back leg is easier to manipulate. I had the same issue, but I realized I plugged in the back leg first and it was hard to work the front leg in.
I just tried Reme's suggestion right now and it's just about flush.

One more question. Spawns chain on the right hangs down and i can't get it to move horizontal, the first link stays in this vertical position. Not a big deal, just kind of looks weird when the first link hangs down and the rest goes around his body.
Sorry to hear about your problems. Your sis did do a good job of covering it up! That's weird about your chain going straight down!? You can't pull it over the leg at all? Read my post above about the peg issue...hope it works for you all!
McFarlane's customer service has been pretty good so far for me. Not trying to make excuses for them, but I'm sure they're getting flooded with all kinds of inquiries/issues about the statue (which may have been why they were short with you). Customer service is a premium, so I hope McFarlane Toys handles things the best way they can. They are relatively new to the resin market, so I hope they're prepared because we are one dang picky group when it comes to these expensive collectibles!

I can pull the chain over the leg, it's just the first link hangs down, and the rest goes over the leg, should have taken a diff pic. It looks odd, I dunno. Damn OCD, hahaha.
Yeah it's not really a big deal anymore after I got it fixed, just glad it wasn't something worse like his cape broken in two! They did write me back asking for pics of the damage. I did take some before I got it fixed, so we'll see what they say.
Now just have to get the litho framed to display behind the statue on my wall.
I wish I could agree with everyone on this statue, but I admit I'm a tad disappointed for two small reasons.
The first is the peg problem. It won't go in all the way and if you put the front leg in first it means squeezing the back leg forward to get it in - running the risk of breaking his friggin' leg off. May try Randy's blow dryer idea or try to open up the back leg peg hole a tad.
The other is his left arm. You can clearly see it's a separate piece. It wasn't patched well and affects the piece, from some angles making it look more giant action-figure than statue.
Aside from those it is a nice, hefty piece, and signed, which is great. Plus the lithograph is really nice and therefore overall I think a pretty good deal.
I do think though that McFarlane still has a little work to do in the statue department before he catches up to what BD or SC are doing.
