Joining McFarlane Toys’ line of limited-edition resin statues, Curse of the Spawn captures the soul of McFarlane’s comic book creation in spectacular detail.
The limited-edition statue retails at $185 with FREE Shipping (Only available in US and Canada). Preordering begins at Noon (Eastern Standard Time) on Saturday, August 18th.
United States and Canada residents can preorder their statues exclusively on the McFarlane Toys Online Store. Due to the huge worldwide demand, McFarlane Toys will now be offering statues internationally for the first time (See details below).
Each statue stands approximately 13.5” tall with base, the figure alone is 12” tall, and sits on a base spanning 13.75” wide and 8.5” deep. All statues are hand-painted and sculpted in the hyper-detail McFarlane is known for with collectors and fans. Each statue is sequentially numbered and includes a FREE plaque hand-signed by Spawn Creator Todd McFarlane.
As an added bonus, each box will include a FREE limited-edition and sequentially numbered Lithograph of the artwork the Curse of the Spawn statue was based on.
The Curse of the Spawn resin statue is planned to ship 1st Quarter 2013. Customers will not be charged until the order is shipped.

Originally I didn't want this, but seeing it fully painted and size reference....I may cave in. Looks good...especially the litho! The detail is something of McFarlane products...love it! Glad McFarlane's back on track with the Spawn statues....
Glad it's available to internationals, but I don't see Asia listed!? I know there's a lot of Spawn fans in those regions!!! Hopefully they get a chance...

This is very cool!
I loved reading Spawn from issue 1 to around 180 before I stopped. I often wonder where the story went and may try to get back on board at some point.
Also, McFarlane's attitude about what he wants to do versus what others want him to do is admirable.

This is frikkin awesome. But until they allow SS the ability to make 1/4 statues of these awesome Spawns and others, I will refrain. But really nice though.

Can you imagine the detail on a 1:4 Spawn statue!? That would be wild! I highly doubt McFarlane will ever sell over rights to another company w/out his control. I'm sure after seeing the success of Sideshow, McFarlane Toys will experiment wit this scale...
The price is just too high for this. It looks good, but it depends on how it looks when delivered. Not sure about different paint applications for different regions. It's not large enough for me. Guess I'm still angry with Todd McFarlane for a number of things.

Really!? It's in scale with BD and Koto statues, but sells for cheaper. It looks a lot more detailed than most of their statues. Plus it comes w/ free shipping, a signature and litho!? That's a really good price (considering what the other companies are charging). You must be personally upset over something to not appreciate the price....
i so want this statue..and i hope they do a ton more along this line..kind of like what they did with the action figure line. when they brought the artwork to life..man i hope they do a Mandarin Spawn. a Spawn the black Knight. Medieval Spawn, Samurai Spawn.. and Raven Spawn. man i could go on and on.. Nigtmare Spawn would be killer too. and how about some bad guys? like Violator,tremor,the Heap and Creech just to name a few. bring it Todd!!!

yeah Spawn on the throne would be a killer piece for sure. had that figure to. i liked wings of redemption also. but i would like to see wings of redemption 2 as a statue..just like how the pose is of him landing after flight.
yeah it would be cool for them to just concentrate on the statues rather than the sports picks. but i think they could do the spawns and the villains at the same time. like they did with the figures. do a few spawns and then a villain.
either way they do it. i really hope they continue with this for sure.. this totally ignited my fire for collecting spawn again.
