I always wanted to draw X-Treme X-Men's Rogue. I missed the that comic series and I am thinking of picking up the trade paper backs at the bookstore.
Anyhow, I was thinking thinking what kind of pose, and went for the flying pose. But I wanted to add a Sentinel head. So, it's Rogue ripping off Sentinel head, but still holding onto it,flying and whooping a punch at another enemy.....hmmm....
I pulled her shades up instead of them covering her eyes, because I like drawing eyes. It conveys more than behind shades.
I'm working on some requests for drawings by others. Hopefully I can show some work in progress next week.
*fingers crossed*

I was very much busy with work at the office and couldn't draw much. Yesterday night, I had to be at the company's exhibition at the mall from 7 to 10pm, a tiring night.
But here's a draft of Savage Land Rogue again.
I intended to draw it larger on artblock paper, so I would always start a smaller drawing first to see how it looks and work out the proportions, perspective and accessories first. Then I would base on it, and replicate by redrawing it on a larger paper. I'll work out a simple background for it later.
I wanted to add more fish, at least 2 more tied up with strings and hung on her left elbow but thought it might have been too distractive.
