Hi Gregory! Congratulations on the Gentle Giant Marvel line! I LOVE the MBs that were shown at SDCC (the Hawkeye MB is AMAZING!). How soon before he will be going up for order? I also like what you guys are doing with red (Red Hulk, Deadpool) but the only red I'm interested in is Daredevil. Is he on the GG radar yet? I like that you guys are doing a mix of classic, modern, and obscure characters right out of the gate.

Hello! First off - congrats on the Marvel license. You guys have certainly hit the ground running. Loving the mix of characters so far and the statues with vehicles are brilliantly done.

My question - does GG have any plans to tackle any of the "B-list" characters like Quasar, Captain Marvel (Monica Rambeau) or villains like Hammerhead, Crossbones etc? I think with the dynamic poses you guys have shown already in the MB line, you could make some of the more "obscure" characters must haves by virtue of the awesome sculpts.

Anyways - good luck to you guys. You definitely have a supporter in me.

RIP, Kirk (aka Ace). You will be missed, brother.

Just like the others above, thank you rogue01 aka Greg for taking the time out to answer our questions!

Also thanks to Touche22 for opening this sticky as requested! You're awesome brotha! BTW, you look tooOoOOoasted in your new pic! Lol!

Now that that's out of the way, Greg, can you provide us more info on the Ultimate WWII Cap on motorcycle? Price, scale, release date, pre-order date and anything else you can provide!?

Also, is a DC license possible or in the works?

Glad to see Gentle Giant representing

I collect primarily the Star Wars mini-bust line (Good to finally see Ep VI Emperor). What are the chances of the following:

OT
1. Rebel Pilot(s) Ep VI
2. Wampa (in scale)
3. Jabba
4. Bib Fortuna

Prequels
1. new Qui Gon with Lightsabre
2. new Mace Windu with Lightsabre
3. Ep I Obi-Wan with Lightsabre and/or new Ep II Obi-Wan with Lightsabre
4. Queen Amidala (1-2 costumes)
5. Arena Padme
6. Jar Jar (nobody likes him but an important character)
7. Boss Nass
8. Young Anakin (pod racer helmet)

EU
1. Thrawn
2. Xizor
3. Quinlan Vos
4. Jacen Solo / Darth Caedus
5. Jaina Solo

Hi Hed! (I can call you Hed, right? ;-) Thank you. Glad you like what you see so far. Yes, Daredevil is on our radar, as are all of the major iconic characters of the Marvel Universe. I'm not sure where he is on the production list though (and even if I did, I can't reveal where), however don't worry - we will get to the Man Without Fear.

Hi Citizen Alpha! Thank you for your questions. Yes, we do have plans for B-List characters. I know some may consider Spider-Woman or Black Cat b-listers, and they're in our first batch. Same with Red Hulk and certainly even more obscure characters like Throg. We do have plans to include characters like them in the line, however I don't know what the plans are for the characters you asked about specifically at this time.

I don't have much info on the WWII Cap ready to release right this instant. However, the scale on that piece is in line with the scale of the Hawkeye and Deadpool statues with vehicles - about 10" (so a little less than 1/6th).

To my knowledge, we don't have plans for a DC license at this time. We just launched Marvel and we want to put significant time and energy into developing this one alongside our other existing lines.

Hi nexus! I can tell you that all of those busts are possible, but I can neither confirm nor deny anything at this time. I would say the ones we haven't done before are more likely to happen than the ones that have already been covered, but since our SW line has grown so large, that it's likely we'll go back and revisit some of the more popular characters that haven't been touched upon in a while. For example, we just leaked pics of our upcoming RotJ Boba Fett mini bust at SDCC.

hi gregory,

i was disappointed to find that the new GG website didn't have either the hellboy statues and busts or the matrix statues and busts in your legacy section. these are among some of the favorites i own in my collection and would love to see them remembered. especially trinity on ducati.

Hi Oddball. Excellent observation. We're working on expanding our archives. We've got a lot of items to add that are a part of our existing licenses, so it may be a while before we add Hellboy, Pan's, the Matrix, etc, but we're aiming to do so eventually.

Any chance for a Gambit FS Statue?

As far as FS statues go, is the plan to stick to the current theme of characters riding vehicles, or will we see other approaches down the road?

Thanks, Jarvis but I can't take all the credit for this. Hellsbells51 and Greg himself are the main reasons for this thread's creation. I am but the tool that created it......did I say "tool"?

Greg, can PG members look forward to a 2011 X-Mas Star Wars Mini Bust? I missed out on the Cody w/snowman and I am kicking myself for not tracking one down.

Thanks Greg,

I really don't know much of the difference between one Boba and the other, but will take a look.
Also, forgot to add in Imperial Guard Trainees in the EU category

So can you say if there will be more new SW busts after the most recent lot shown at SDCC?

Sorry Greg, anyway...back to business. Thanks for the reply! Hopefully we'll here more about this piece in the coming weeks! It's really cool and different from what's out there...I'm assuming it's around the Deadpool (on scooter) price range, but you never know.

I understand about the DC license...just had to ask with rumors swirling around and all.
