Never has the Red, White and Blue looked so good! Revisit the Silver Age of comics with this Classic depiction of one of the most iconic Super Heroes of all time! Steve Rogers was a scrawny fine arts student with a patriotic streak when World War II broke out. Deemed too small for the military, Rogers heart and desire to serve his country caught the eye of a high-ranking Army General who recruited him for the dangerous and top secret Super Soldier project. Injected with a serum that granted Rogers superior strength, speed and athleticism, Steve Rogers became Captain America!
Displayed here wielding his Silver Age round shield and Old Glory, this Captain America Mini Bust is the perfect addition to any true Marvel fan's collection. This 1/6 scale mini bust is a hand numbered limited edition collectible and comes with a matching Certificate of Authenticity.
Wow, another pretty darn good lookin' bust! Something with the face is off though...too cartoony looking? He looks kind of young. Love the addition of the flag though! It looks awesome all ruffled like that!
Kinda split on this , looks great but im not sure about the flag, the flag looks terrific but if I wanted to display this with my Bowen Avengers set up I think the flag might make it look out of place, its a shame it was not pose-able with or without the flag.
A well-made bust to be sure, but it just doesn't appeal to me. I prefer the random scattering of chain mail detailing on a Bowen Cap to seeing each individual link. I appreciate artistic flair and interpretation over photo-realism in my busts. Otherwise I'd own at least something by Sideshow.
Generally these GG products have looked great and I'm looking forward to seeing some of them up close & personal. I thought it was funny last week when the Boston Globe's critic called the new Cap movie "too patriotic", but this version of Cap may actually be a little too red, white & blue for me.
This looks incredible except the "A" on his forehead is way too large. It looks real goofy. What a shame...my God, look at the size of that thing! Doesn't anyone else notice this? Where's our Gentle Giant rep?
