I was prepared to be disappointed as I'm not a Zack Syder or no outside-underwear Superman costume fan and ESPECIALLY upset about lack of John Williams score, but...I thought this teaser was pretty good.

The kid playing while wearing a red cape really got me and I like that the overall direction SEEMS to be rooted in the old fashioned Americana of the original Richard Donner film. I'm definitely more hopeful than before.

Anyone who really knows me, KNOWS that Superman the Movie is my favorite motion picture of all time. It hits me in the gut and the innocence and sentimentality of it just cause the tears to flow every damn time I watch it.

I HOPE this is good.

I really want it to be...

I'm keeping an open mind. While I hope they include Williams score my main concern is another 'Superman Returns' fiasco.
Snyder has a chance at another '300' hit on his hands.

I'm sure the move will be great, but the trailer didn't do much for me.

I'm stoked Snyder is doing it so I have high hopes. I like the costume, I like my underwear under. The trailer perfectly gave away little but let us know it was being taken seriously which is what I'm after.
Before I was interested now I'm excited.

This is one of my most highly anticipated films. I'm going to do my best to not see another trailer. This one does enough for me to feel comfortable with it's direction. I teared up at the beginning of Returns (which I overall liked)and felt a little of that coming back when I watched this trailer in the theater Friday.

I am very happy just saw Dark knight Rises for third time in Aus and was very pleasently surprised when they showed this trailer this time. Looks good like the idea of costume and hey it cant be as bad as superman returns.

I just hope he gets a good and decent villain to fight with todays Film technogy we should be able to get one hell of a fight scene.

Meh. The Oz trailer they played before The Dark Knight Rises was more exciting than the Man of Steel trailer. Don't get me wrong, I probably have more DC comics than I do Marvel and I love Superman. The only part of the trailer that had "wow" factor was when he was going supersonic. (Almost as good as a bullet to the eye!) My daughter noticed the trailer music was lifted from the Lord of the Rings trailer. Love the music very much , but c'mon, a little originality?

I saw this trailer yesterday when I saw Dark Knight Rises.

Not liking the way its looking...and it seems the film is going to focus more on the man than the Super....and thats just not a superman film in my book

Not much of a peek. Most of it looks like a commercial for a product that makes your clothes fresh as the outdoors.

Why do they always feel the need to update things?
That's like adding an "effect" to the American flag.
