Nice! A lot better than the teaser trailer...I think this SDCC footage looks great! Still iffy on the suit, but I said the same about the Spidey suit too and I got used to it.

I think this has to revive Superman...they can't afford to screw him up again. He is suppose to be the face of DC and that last movie didn't help. It's been far too long that he's been overshadowed...now's the time DC...now's the time!

I'm definitely more hopeful than before.

Anyone who really knows me, KNOWS that Superman the Movie is my favorite motion picture of all time. It hits me in the gut and the innocence and sentimentality of it just cause the tears to flow every damn time I watch it.

Same feeling for me, really enjoyed as a kid the first movie, always do, as for the music, I had the same nostalgia when I saw the teaser trailer of Superman Returns featuring the voice of Jor-El and the Superman Theme on the background (even though it was remastered or something) and was hoping them to include the theme in this one, sad to know they didn´t.

Not a fan of the no outside underwear too, but I learned my lesson with The Amazing Spiderman wich I really liked, the whole thing made me forget about the costume issues I had since first saw the design.

This looks effing GREAT! And while I think Superman + Superman II (The Donner Cut) are the two BEST superhero films out there, I hope they wont do another Superman Returns. That movie SUCKED, and it SUCKED cause it was based on Donners great movies. It was unoriginal and it was like watching a bad copy of a great painting.
I think this looks promising.
And guys, almost ALL trailers lift music of other films

That's like adding an "effect" to the American flag.

I think the studios do this so there versions are different for the past ones. example Spidey's new costume.

I agree the "s" is too busy! to many lines.

I'm not sure how that trailer could get anyone excited. And the fact that the costume and symbol has so radically changed makes me think this movie with it's brooding main character is gonna S-U-C-K!
