Are there knock off Hot Toys Demon Batman

Just got into hot toys (another brand I said I would never but changed my mind)
Been looking for the hot toys demon batman on eBay. Seems like all the reasonable prices ones are from Hong Kong, etc. Sellers have high 98-99 rating in feedback and 1000s of feedback. Looks like for every couple 100 there's a negative but nothing negative on that particular item

So my question is. Are there knock offs? Is there versions like US and non US. If so are there differences?

there is knock off versions yes. i know the wolverine in particular and the blade figures are notorious for having great quality knock offs. its hard to tell unless you have both versions. demon batman and scarecrow never made it stateside as they were exclusive to Japan only i believe. for their anniversary or something like that

What was worrying me was that every seller on eBay was from Hong Kong, but seeing that you said they were only made overseas I guess that would make sense so probably not a knockoff. Hopefully lol

but the demon batman won't appear on sideshow. so he is fine with ordering it from an overseas seller.

my experience is that sellers from hong kong have awful customer service and don't honor their auction terms. even the one with 100% feedback decided that he wasn't going to take a return because he obviously knew that a week later, the same figure could be had for $190 from sideshow.

patience will most every time produce what you're looking for on ebay. i prefer domestic buyers when i sell on ebay and now i prefer domestic sellers as well. too many crooks as it is without adding the fact the seller is half a world away.
