Our NYCC adventure began the Wednesday night before the show. This is us on the NJ Transit NE Corridor Train from Hamilton, NJ to Secaucus, NJ where our hotel was located.

Me chillin' on the big bed at our first hotel, La Quinta in Secaucus, NJ. Poor Predator31 got stuck with the sofa bed in the other room. It had stains of unknown origin on it. He was not happy!

I needed a Michelob Ultra & a Jägermeister after a long day at work & travelling. Predator31 & I set out from our hotel at 1 am & took a loooong walk to Hoolihans in Secaucus. This was Predator31's first time in a bar. He didn't drink anything, but I took this pic to make his Mom crazy!

I HATE getting up in the morning, but Predator31 wasn't having any of my Tomfoolery! We had a plan to go see the sites in New York City, so he got my a$$ out of bed. As you can probably tell by this pic on the bus from Secaucus to New York Port Authority, my eyes are rather glassy from a bit of a hangover & lack of sleep in that big, comfortable bed!

We walked from the Port Authority down 44th Street to Pier 84 to hop on the New York Water Taxi. Beware buying online! We found out that it was cheaper to get combo Water Taxi & USS Intrepid Museum (including Space Shuttle Pavilion) tix on site.

Our first stop off the Water Taxi was the World Trade Center Memorial. You can see the new WTC behind me!

The next stop on the Water Taxi was the South Street Seaport. It has a lot of restaurants, bars & live entertainment. Unfortunately, we didn't have all the time in the world, so we stayed on the Water Taxi. In the background is the Brooklyn Bridge.

After the Water Taxi docked at the pier, we made our way over one block to the USS Intrepid & Space Shuttle Pavillion. By the way, the cost was $28 for the Water Taxi & $14 for the Intrepid & Space Shuttle.

The friggin' Space Shuttle Endeavor!!! The Shuttle is located in an enclosed space on the Intrepid's flight deck.

We finally make it to the Javitz Center for Day 1 of Comic Con. Poor Boba Fett is down on his luck! I gave him a buck. Predator31 thought I was stupid!
